Introduction
We as a group of nine members picked the topic Kelani river pollution as it is the most polluted. river despite the existing laws and policies in Sri Lanka.
Kelani River is one of the most important rivers in the country as it provides drinking water to 80% of people in Western Province and most of the agricultural and industrial activities depend on the river. It provides residents for a variety of flora and fauna.
But unfortunately it is now completely polluted due to human activities. This massive pollution not only threatens human lives but also causes severe damage to the environment and surroundings which are sometimes irreversible.
