Hi just to let everyone know do not follow the way this boy put his shift drum and selector on it is the wrong way round wound selected gears properly and will have to dissemble whole engine again to reposition the shift from the other way around

To make things clear with the transmission, for the shifter to work properly, you have to have the right side case on for the detent on the spring. The shifter will be loose until you have the case on. This is normal.

Great video. A friend of mine having an issue where the clutch cover is making the kick starter not work will not move take a bolt out the cover up were there starter gear is and it loosens up again. Is there a certain way these have to be installed as i cannot think of what would he causing it ?

When you assembled the shifter drum is there a bushing or seal or anything on the back side of the drum when I took mine apart there was like a light grey plastic that was broke off inside ?

So when I removed that bolt on the crank , the gear will not come off the shaft ? Is it a press fit and pops when you split the cases or should it just pop off with a bit of force ? As far as I can see the only thing holding it is a woodruff key
