I have a '91 V6 with 235K on it. I recently discovered that there is an oil pressure switch that is sensed such that when the main fuel pump relay goes out, the backup relay is triggered when the fuel pressure switch goes off (or goes low, I guess). This is detected by the ECU. That way the Trooper can start even if the main fuel pump relay goes out. It was a long road of troubleshooting to figuring this out - thought I'd have to replace the fuel pump at first!

Sir, I am amazed at your skills and inventiveness. I have a 1993 Trooper in need of some repairs and paint. Not much if any rust. Only 125,000 miles. Runs well, but some problems finding a proper brake booster. Would love to have someone with your talent do what you did to yours, to make it safe. I did have a timing belt brake, but no noticeable damage to the engine, which promptly shut down. I would pay lots to get my Trooper into trustworthy state. Better than any new SUV. Anyway, if you continue on youtube, you will become one of the "go to" channels for expert knowledge. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up!

Good stuff. You do all the research and work and take the time to help the rest of us! Thank you. I had an issue with almost no heat in my 14 Ram. I thought it was the blend door, which is behind the glove box. It ended up being a dirty heater core. I disconnect the hoses on the motor side and lightly flushed it forward and back. Filled it with antifreeze before connecting it back up and my heat returned! To replace the heater core is an absolute nightmare..hope I never have to do that!

I've built plenty of those grinder stands over the yrs, and I always use at least 3" round pipe or bigger, and fill the pipe or square tubing with sand before welding the grinder base on top. One for more weight plus it deaded the vibration of the grinder. I also used a semi drum for the base. Try this it works.!!!!
