If the capacitor smooths out the current then the inductance smooths out the voltage, did I understand it correctly?
@milky_dromeda Not exactly! A capacitor smooths out current by storing and releasing charge, while an inductor resists changes in current. This happens because changes in current cause shifts in the inductor’s magnetic field, which induces a voltage opposing the change (Faraday’s Law). Hope this clarifies!
@@delgadorelayreference Oh okay, thank you so much, because I remember that in our power electronics class we used capacitors to smooth out voltage ripples and inductors to smooth out the current, we even called it "smoothing coil"
