We are currently sent our expedite request to USCIS and we got an email from them saying that we are eligible, yet need to wait within 10 days to let USCIS look to the request seriously. May I ask you concerning your case, did you get that same email from USCIS and is that sort of sign that we are going to be approved on our expedite request? Thanks.

You stated your wife recd notice for interview in 6. Weeks time from th date of filing. Any idea when we will receive our interview letters. Rgds.

I filed i130 in states for my foreign, where do i file the i485 and pay for it? she will be in her country till visa is approved. does she file the 485 at the embassy and pay it there? or do I file it with USCIS like I did the i130?

Hey Sam, I had a quick question. I'm currently in a similar boat. I filed the i-130 on March 30th, 2024 and I reached out to my congresswoman to request an expedite with the USCIS. Thankfully, an immigration case officer from her office took the case and I was able to get it expedited and approved on May 14th. On May 19th they sent the case over to the NVC and on May 21st I recieved the welcome letter from the NVC. My question is, can I request to expedite with the National Visa Center before I pay the fees or do I have to pay the fees first and then request expediting? Thank you in advance!

Hi , My i-130 approved ,my case is at NVC and my priority date is Feb/15/2024 But there is no movement for those who priority date is in 2024 please tell me that if there is no visa available in F4 (brother/sister)can i send an expedite email to NVC????

But that is ONLY the i130, then it had to go to the NVC and she still could not travel until she gets her visa.

Regardless of the country your dose was from that you were requesting an expedited visa, the overall and general procedures and circumstances may be checks and beneficial to other petitioners who have spouses and or immediate family members around the world. Obviously the process for the Indian government was specifically unique to them however, the USA side of the process could be universal.
