17:48 A sharpie cap can be used as a makeshift Fuel Line Disconnect Tool. Cut the tip of the cap off at the clip. Use the conical portion to push the two yellow clips inside the disconnect.

Wanted to get a Shuenk turbo kit because the wastegate flapper design is totally different and 10 times better then the stock setup that wears out, Ended up just getting an upgraded cartridge and replaced the wastegate flapper assembly.

Any stone countertop shop will have lots of sink and cooktop cutouts. They will be more flat and also free. They have to pay to discard them so most shops would be happy to give you a piece or two.

That rear shock is a mofo, you have to take the shock with the bracket out. And no you can’t get any tool you would like in there. And I overruled the front and rear in the driveway…

to align at the back, it was necessary to turn the trailer upside down, load the sides and lift with a jack in the center, it would be much easier and faster.

Ok just a suggestion to everyone wanting to make splicing into existing wiring harnesses at pretty much all auto parts stores in the USA all sell piggyback tie ins. So all you have to do is put the splicer side over the existing wiring you wanna connect to then slide in the power wire for the what ever you're trying to get power to then simply use a pair of pliers and squeeze the connecting portion until it stops then close the cover for it and you're set. Very easy way to splice into existing wiring harnesses!

If you get a 24V block, and it's a "53" block (look for a cast in number on the driver's side) check the passenger's side for CRACKS under the core plugs. Not all of them crack, mine has 435,000 miles on it, but a lot of them do crack there.

DO THE KILLER DOWEL PIN FIX whether you swap the motor or fix this one.

Great Video...thanks for putting this together. I have a problem with a 06 Forester 2.5. Big bang in the driveway. Hole about the size of a grapefruit in the top of the block. Ordered rebuilt longblock. I can't get the crank to turn at all. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to pull the engine with the torque converter attached.
