So the opening Black Curse riffs are just the guitar into the amp and no pedals? 🤔

The mids are EQed at a more Marshalling sound on the Super Crush 100 while the CR120 is typical Orange scooped low mids which make sit a darker sounding amp without help. Want both sounds, put an EQ pedal in the loop of the CR120. That's that I did! I personally prefer the C120 as an Orange amp and if I want the chugs back, just boost it with an MXR od badass modified with the mid point boosted and/or use an EQ pedal in the loop.

Does this sound similar to the Caroline meteore (whichi have) because as were the meteore is a lo fi spring this sound more like a lo. Fi plate but I'm just checking rious if they sound to similar thanks and good demo

Both sound fantastic but for me personally I have to give it to the T120, it just sound more versatile and pleasant to my ears. Great video!

Excellent demo. I appreciate that you are not sponsored. Too many reviews are done by guys who received free guitar from the company they are supposed to be un-biased about. To me, they sound very similar. I think the Crush 100 sounds a tad bit brighter. The Crush Pro 120, which I have, sounds a bit more Lo-Fi, if that makes any sense. I've heard from several people that the cleans on the Chrush 100 are better. What is your opinion? And if a person were to just purchase one of these, which would you recommend? Which is more versatile?

Very informative demo, great job. I have both preamp pedals and have both in my pedal chain for me Orange Pro Crush 120. I have both in front of the amp, even though at times I will put the Exegol in he FX loop as intended. For me, the best dirt pedals for the T120 (1st generation, no 18v option with the jack) is any muff and high gain fuzzface style pedals. It also likes Hyper and Super fuzz type pedals too. The Exegol tends to favor Rat, distortion, and overdrive pedals. It also likes Octave up and boost pedals. I wish the Exegol was a bypass pedal when engaged in the FX loop, meaning it has to be on or you get no sound while in the FX loop. Both downright doom and sludge. The T120 is better at the stoner desert genres than the Exegol. The Exegol is best with the Rat and a boost for SunnO))) type Drone Metal.

Running these in stereo could be interesting. It seems to me the Exegol stacks better, or at least seems to stack well on every setting.

One of the very best of the best. As a Kuro T120 owner, the quality of sound and build is second to none imo.

thanks was hoping thsi vid will appear at some point :D also was wondering if it was only me hearing no difference with the t120 in 18v. for the comparison it seems like the exegol has more bass in general and the normal channel is more like drive setting 1/3 and the brite channel more like 2/4 on the t120. both sound awesome tho. do you feel one is more suited to be also a bass preamp over the other?

I love the CR120. The mids are perfect. People say it's darker than the SC100 but I feel like the SC100 is more scooped here. Both are great amps though!

This is literally the only demo of this pedal I can find (other than the one created by FTelettronica themsleves on an older version of this pedal) so I don’t really know if it’s just your rig or the pedal itself but I love the sound of this. The crackly gain, almost like the distortion you can get going direct into a console sounds amazing. Especially after 2:09 it’s quite prominent but only when you’re in the dark mode. Is that purely from the gain of the pedal? I notice once you switch to bright mode it goes away so I was curious if it was more from your amp distorting when hit by lower frequencies, or maybe the cab/mic placement reacting to those lower frequencies? Or if it is all just gain straight from the pedal?
