A lot of people call this song a Ukrainian folk song. But this creation was written by Vasil Mikhailyuk (1929 - 2003) and Mikola Yuriychuk (1937 - 1997). There were two freinds from small town in Bukovina, West Ukraine. Very fast this song became popular throughout the Soviet Union. It has been recognized like a hymn of love and beaty of nature. There is sound:
