14 February 2024 the Easyjet flight from Sharm was cancelled due to a fault. An engineer had to fly out from the UK to fix the plane. We were taken to a 5 star hotel called Golf Beach Resort and stayed there until the following afternoon, all inclusive. I received £520 from Easyjet as compensation

I stayed in Dahab for two weeks in January - February 2024 There were no security issues. I traveled from Amman by bus then a ferry to Taba. Ferry cost 30 JD then a taxi to Dahab. I flew from Sharm to London. I stayed at a hostel 300EGP per night including breakfast. I had lunch out every day at Bedouin Sons, a lovely beachfront restaurant with sunloungers. I visited Aqaba in January 2024 The weather was warm - over 20 degrees and mild at night I caught the ferry with AB maritime to Taba 30 JD No visa required to visit the Sinai Exit tax to leave Jordan

I visited Jordan in January 2024 I stayed at Desert Bird camp which was a bit basic and has no heating in the rooms Some camps have heating and wifi. I paid 20 JD for a night including meals and 40 JD for the tour. I traveled by Jett bus from Petra - cost 15JD The train trip was free with my Jordan Pass
