One of the reasons why it got so hard at the end is incorrect positioning of micro-traxion. Friction worked against you xD
Bounce test by wiggling ha! Your over your head
imagine getting a Charlie-horse in your ham-string as you are on all 4s while reaching back to find a new anchor. Fear Fuel right here! Bravo!
Hell yes! Very cool.
I can't even get on a 3 step stool to change a light bulb.
❤ love it
Why?
"How do you spell Way?" "W..A..Y..F.." "There's no F in Way?!" "Correct!"
Fuckin’ love the manky mantle at the end lol. The best ending to a corner aid pitch
So this guy is risking his life, but still filming it, in 4K !!! And only gets 30 likes... i don't get it
Nice. Seems like you could have slung that feature with a 120cm sling, no?
Probably but the rock in that section was somewhat crumbly. I was even nervous to really pull on it. Likely just mental and I’m sure others have grabbed/slung it in the past
Cool, and scary! :D
Awe Hell no!!! Great Job Sir
Nice job persevering through!
incredible skill bravery and ability.
Super sick guys!
dude, what an enjoy have fun :)
Beautiful video
What camera do you use ?
@amateurparkour13 actually I've spent years trying to find a decent FPV setup for rockclimbing. It's hard since the rock is usually 1ft from your face most of the time and your constantly looking around. But I've now finally found one that I think is the least-unwatchable setup I've seen. I use the Gopro12 with max lens 2.0 mod. Filmed in 4:3 superview with stabilization and horizon lock. Then I do some post processing to remove the fish-eye and add further stabilization.
@@GreenGloopI use the gopro 9 with the max lens mod. The max lens helps a ton with the pov footage. I placed the mount on the top of my helmet and I tilt the GoPro slightly forward. I think that’s the perfect angle, for me at least. I don’t think I use the stabilization or horizon lock and I don’t seem to have any fish eye either. Love your videos btw!
Yellow totem @13:48 looked like a great nut placement. lol. Love the vides btw!
Thanks! I have a strong adversion to nuts, probably mostly unmerited. My partner laughs when each time I try not to even bring nut tools
@@GreenGloop You might not have nuts(on the route) but you do have Huevos Grandes! ;)
👀👀👀
:38 🧐🧐
Have you ever dropped a piton or carabiner?
@onemorething100 I’m pretty good about not dropping gear but I have dropped a couple radios until I started carrying them in my pocket.
Thanks. I enjoy your videos. It's obvious I have no climbing experience.
@@onemorething100 thanks! When I was learning I was looking for videos that show the full process and couldn’t find many. It’s one of the reasons I started making these. Glad you’re enjoying them!
@@GreenGloop Take care out there Sir.
Thanks for the great BETA! We're heading off to knock it out soon, and this is super helpful.
At what point does that entire slab fall off the cliff face?
We have no business being up there - lol!
Just a single bolt for your anchor? I wouldn’t trust that
How scary was that! Well done
high step off fifi hook into first placement... 10/10 would whip. (not!) scary!
First Upvote and First Comment! Grats guys. Scary AF lol.
O hell No!!! What is your thoughts on Honnolds free ascent?
It’s unreal. Climbing the same route in puts into context how impossible it would be
'Like...really scared of this for some reason'. I can help clarify what the reason is, if this would help?
I'd like a helicopter now.
looked pretty thin at the crux. nice work getting through that!
Great video, thanks for posting. Just got a pair of adjusts to get ready to the nose next year. Great to see them in action, appreciated!
Put more of those jobbers in the cracks.
It's illegal to take off or land your drone here in this wilderness area. Just a heads up!
Thanks for the heads up! I just looked it up and launching in Red Rock Canyon is allowed but not in the wilderness areas behind as you said. I think I was right on the border here and it may have been the reason why the drone was tracking at first then tried to run off and land... www.redrockcanyonlv.org/frequently-asked-questions/#:~:text=Yes%2C%20visitors%20can%20fly%20drones,visitors%20while%20flying%20your%20drone.
@@GreenGloop yes, it is fine to take off and land in the scenic loop and in most of the Calico Hills, but once you get into the canyons it is all wilderness area.
you know the hobby is dangerous when the "thank god ledge" is the safest place there
Feel like I'm gonna faint in my kitchen, couldn't imagine doing this for fun. Who did what, to you, to make you want to do these things? 😂
Well done.. hectic
wow that crux looks pretty intense, nice job
where is this located?
Looks like a rather stiff 5.9
Great video! Looks like a superb, albeit strenuous route.
extend those placements. Give those cams a little room to breathe.
Oh man, I would have loved to see that anchor construction :( To me, a pitch is only done when the anchor is done. Great video regardless. I really get immersed in your videos :D Makes my palms sweaty XD
Thanks. For me this is top content
Man I wonder what P stands for
Pitch…this was pitch 8
It amazes me that we can grade a 10m climb and a multipitch the same grade.
thats fucking scary
