@@lastbob2502 you mean at 47:15? The person in the past starts the sequence. When they press the button a symbol shows up for them on the left. They tell the person in the future to press their corresponding symbol. Then the future person gets an image on the left, and tells the person in the past which image to press. Both sides are timed, so if either side waits too long the pressure will get too low and you’ll have to restart.

Sorry to say it did not. Good video. Just found a game breaking bug. 27:40 The connection point to the first medium level just never appeared.

Look at the sign. The arrow that it’s pointed is the opposite of direction you should look first. Which ever direction you look first is the direction that the stop signs appear so if the arrow on the exit sign says left, look right and then go left. If the arrow says right, look left then go right. Make sense?

Well since it’s a VR exclusive game, that makes perfect sense to me. Why would achievements be made to work in a non-VR mode that you need a third party mod for? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@tornadre yeah half life alyx is meant to be played on vr to promote the valve index, but sometimes achivement hunters dont have the accessability (or sanity) of a vr headset. it should be noted the no vr mod still isnt fully finished so they might make it possible

@@kenner102 yeah I guess that’s the modders issues, but modders will most likely have limited ability to trigger achievements, because achievements are hard coded into the original game, so the mod would have to allow the game to run that script to trigger the achievement.

What VR system are you using?

In Aly’s photo each figure is missing a body part. That body part corresponds to the body part on the anatomy diagram, which if you draw a line through them like a connect the dots, it gives you the number 4

Basically when you add a clone the clone will copy your behavior. There are different time intervals so if it’s set to 1 second, the clone will only copy 1 second of your actions before getting cut off and going back to the beginning of that action. So you have to choose the right duration of the recording, press the “record” button, do whatever action you want the clone to do, then when the time runs out or you stop the recording, the clone will mimic the actions you demonstrated. That might not have been the best explanation, but I hope it helps enough to get you to experiment and figure it out!

this is the most frustrating games I've ever played. The buttons do not work (controls whatever you want to call them) them way they are supposed to. I hate this game right now.

If I recall correctly, it took me two tries to get that achievement so I would suggest starting over and trying again. A couple of the achievements were a little buggy for me

No, you can use as many as you want and proceed with the story, except there is a physical cap (I think 20?) because otherwise you could overload the game with too much data

I think you need to give it BOTH the green and yellow for that to work and then BOTH pink and blue because they are shared in the diagram on the right of the whale

It was a stream, not a recorded let’s play. I stopped because I was finished streaming. I didn’t want to complete the game without exploring more because there were secrets I had found but not fully explored.

I also agree. I really loved this game, and it's easy to to go back through and get the achievements once you're finished playing naturally the first time. As for recycling day, I do not think so. You would have to start a new game. Fortunately there is a key you can throw extremely early in the game so it would only take about 5 minutes to do.

You can get the achievement on a completed game by throwing one of the hint tubes out of the tree.

If you look at 3:46 he doesn’t use 2+5, he uses 2+1. Don’t pay attention to the notes, as that’s just what they are writing and not necessarily the final answer

Sure, the one with the two walkie talkies? Each player has different colored buttons, one has red and blue, the other has yellow and green. When one player sees "red" on their screen, they tell their partner "Red" and then that partner pushes the "red" button. then that player will see either a green or yellow square on their screen and tell the first person "Green" and then the first player will press the green button, etc. Hope that made sense lol! For the footage, I recorded twice and had to line it up so it probably doesn't match perfectly for that puzzle.
