JRod’s first buck ever! On public land
After a long week of learning to bowhunt and a few close calls with bigger bucks Jrod was finally able to send an arrow and harvest his first buck. I am so glad I was able to capture it for him. This was his first buck, on public land, in a saddle, with a bow. Lots of firsts in one hunt.

Hurricane Ian the day after the storm.
Просмотров 27Год назад
Riding around my neighborhood the day after Hurricane Ian came through. I cut multiple trees out of the roadways, and attempted to cut trails through the woods to access other parts of town. Unfortunately the current in the myakkahatchee river was too strong and was overtaking my boat. I was able to evacuate multiple families and their pets to high ground where they could seek refuge. It’s been...
Vera’s first deer harvest.
Просмотров 12Год назад
This is a raw video from 2019 when my daughter (6 years old at the time) harvested her first deer. She got it done in a cramped ground blind with Mom and I by her side. The deer expired in about 30 yards and she was able to blood trail it on her own. This is when the fire for my love of taking kids into the woods really ignited.

    It seems to struggle a bit on the larger stuff as looks like you are adjusting the feed rate.....do you think that due to tractor HP or the chipper?

    • @FishHuntDive
      @FishHuntDive 2 года назад

      I just slowed the feed rate to not unnecessarily beat up the knifes. I have watched the Tach on bigger stuff and it barely moves! It does sound like it’s bogging and I was hesitant first learning to use it but the only thing to slow it down it leafy stuff and palm fronds. And that’s just because the chute snags it coming up and will eventually clog.

    Thank you John Estill for your comments and sharing your experience in the Air Force. My husband and I were at Goodfellow Air Force Base and spent almost 3 years at Kadena Air Force in Okinawa, Japan. I worked at Marine Corps Base, Camp Smedley D. Butler during that time. It was a wonderful experience and all these years later we remember almost everyday we were there. We went over one 1 boy and came home with 2. We met some of the best people in the world there. I was actually extremely sick the day of my test but I wasn't letting anything hold me back from my career. 4 years in the AF as a fire dog and 2 deployments under my belt. Now I work for my local fire dept as a FF EMT and in Paramedic school. For all of you with positive comments thank you and I hope you all were able to join and make the best out of your time as I did!
