Amazing and very timely that I found this. I was about to replace my brake switch when I went to look at the white wire you mentioned. Well it was cut and no longer connected. I replaced my turn stalk a few months ago and think I pinched this wire. I put an inline wire splicer on and connected both sides and I have brake lights again!! Thanks for the tip!

I bought it on Amazon, just type in Toyota 4x4 overlay, plenty to choose from $6-$13 bucks, tires are 295 60r20 (34 inch)nitto ridge grapplers, currently running a 3/2 lift, 1 1/4 bora wheel spacers, half inch bumper spacer( see my video for the spacers) no rubbing or cutting any plastic in the wheel wells. I kept the original mud flaps and only removed that small mud flap in front of the front tire cause I thought it looked stupid

So far so good, we use it about 4-5 days a week for about 4 to 6 hour, for the price I don’t expect it to last forever, but I’m happy with it so far

How has the bulb been working for you?

I haven’t had any issues with any of them and they get abused by teenagers, max psi on all those boards is 14psi, but honestly when you get to 9 or 10 psi the things are rock hard. I always stop at 12 psi but I’ve used them at 10 psi just fine

Have you had any issues with the Kohala seams bursting? I found a good deal and your video sold me. I read some people are having issues with blowouts though.

I had a similar issue with that white wire on my '98 Tahoe. But I found that that specifif wire is too short and, depending on the angle of the steering wheel, the wire gets stretched and shorts out when braking. Thats been my experience with mine.

Glad it helped. I stay away from the dealer for repairs and do all the work myself. I would suggest everyone else does the same. These dealers will sell you a ski in 5 minutes after you walk in the door, but tell you it’ll be 5 weeks before they can get around to fixing it, and good luck if it’s even fixed when you get it back

Just scrolling videos as I just picked up a 2023 trixx exactly like this, old stock from our local dealer. No issues with that clamp as of yet (just hit 10 hrs this weekend) however, 2 hull bolts fell out on one side... so your thoughts about dealership techs is exactly on point! Looks like we have the same techron socket set also...weeeeeird. I'll be setting the torque as you did here when the bolts get delivered (I did call in a claim warranty, they are ordering the parts but I'm not letting them touch it).. thanks for the info!

Had the no crank issue with mine over the past weekend as we were trying to get it in the water. So with the exhaust sensor supposed to be monitoring exhaust pressure and what not, were you seeing the pwc throw a "Limp Home Mode" code on the screen? It's currently at the dealer right now and at this point we've had the worst customer service dealing with their service department. If I can fix it myself I will if I don't have to deal with them.

What screws did you use to mount the lights to the aluminum frames?

I'm having the issue with a 04 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 just put in a new motor when I press clutch in and start it motor wants to take off And peg out so I shut the key off what would cause that problem I cleaned throttle body That's still same issue

So hoping this fixes my no brakelights issue on my 1999 gmc suburban. Have replaced brakelight switch and turn signal. There is no power to back brakelights. All fuses are good.
