Weve been learning about this verse in church. I have a question, when we tell our testimonies would it be considered prophecy? Like prophesying to other people H5715 ʿēḏûṯ -to do again would we be creating an atmosphere of prophecy because if he did it for me he can do it for you? Thats what weve been learning.

We sang that song (doxology) at the dinner table when I was a child. It’s one of my precious memories. Oh I want to give God all thanks and praise for His mercy and grace that He has had on this old sinner. I know it’s only by the Wonderful Grace of Jesus Christ the Lord that I am saved! Hallelujah!! More and more the song on my heart is: “Oh I want to see Him, Look upon His face. There to sing forever of His saving grace. On the streets of glory Let me lift my voice. Cares all passed, home at last. Ever to rejoice! Amen!

I’ve always heard Charles Lawson say Jesus ascended to Heaven because the Earth could not hold Him. I love the comparison here with John saying not only could the Earth not hold Him, it couldn’t even hold the writings of what He did! And not everything He did, just what He did in the presence of His disciples! Absolutely no telling what He did that the disciples didn’t see. What a sublimely beautiful passage of Scripture.

They used to cast lots, but now we can cast our cares upon him because he cares for us! Thank you Lord Jesus for.caring for us!

I don't have much to tithe, but I do give. And I'm very involved in my church. I help out in any way I can! Mostly by singing! Thank you for mentioning Matthew 6:33. Sometimes I have to stop myself from worrying about so many things in this season of my life. And yet if I keep my eye on the Lord, he always provides! In his own timing. Thank you for another great lesson!

God’s chosen people were determined to keep the laws by not intermarrying with the heathen around them, keeping the sabbath holy, letting the land rest on the seventh year and giving of their money for the service of the house of God.
