Salut! Sunt comparabile cu dotarea Infinity de fabrica. Eu am completat set-up-ul cu un subwoofer Blaupunkt (vezi pe canal aici clip). Eventual, daca nu vrei sa pui subwoofer, incearca Hertz Cento.

For any aftermarket radio you need the dedicated adaptor, ISO to your radio. You can find these adaptors anywhere, on most online shopping web sites. Search for "pioneer sph-10bt iso adapter".

Old video, but good speakers. I still use them in my Opel Insignia, still only driven by the head unit, with no amp. The quality of the sound is good, with pleasent mid-bass. For deep bass it's better to add a small sibwoofer.

If you refere to min. 04:23, it is the connector for the heated seats controls. I have made a retrofit to original specs, thus you can see it present in a Classic car configuration.

@@itayr4827 It is possible, because all car speakers in the range of 16,5 cm are medium bass speakers and so I also added a Blaupunkt active subwoofer to my setup, in the final install (I went for a full range 3 way speaker setup, with DSK medium bass and tweeters and 50-200Hz bass from the sub). Your stock speakers might have been optimized for the doors acoustics. In order to make the best out of the aftermarket speakers, sound-proof your doors and use DSK type speakers (mid bass with separate tweeter).

The system is different: DSK is 2 speakers + high pass filter vs. DCX component speakers; there is no contest: DSK is better.

The sound stage is divided in two parts: front and rear. On the Insignia model A, you have separate tweeters in the A pillar and coaxial speakers in the rear. They are of simillar quality, but the DSK are better due to the presence of the separate tweeter.

I'll look into dynamat products. Sadly, in Brazil, importers are selling the xtreme dynamat (9 sheets 18" x 32") for about ~250 dollars... actually a bit harsh on my pockets.. might wait a bit to upgrade the sound system

You can go with tar based home insulating foil, you can find those at home improvement shops; they do the exact same thing.

FanDecaf Nu ai nevoie de nimic. Merge perfect din prima. Sa folosesti cabluri bune, cu siguranta fuzibila proprie (are si el, incorporata, dar e mai sigur sa mai fie una).

salut,eu l am montat intr un G4,nu ocupa spatiu mult si se aseaza bine fiind "taiat" ca dupa forma spatarului. Acum o intrebare am daca il ai montat,ledul ala rosu trebuie sa stea tot timpul aprins?

Trebuie montat plus si minus, de la baterie (cauta un cable kit pentru sub-woofer pe net) - avantajul este ca are si cablu de remote - cel care iti porneste amplif-ul. Daca si cablul l-ai pus corect, verifica siguranta fuzibila a sub-ului, sa nu fie arsa.

Aero Fan daca a facut scurt circuit nu prea ai cum să-ți dai seama din câte am înțeles.

Asta iti zic - sub-ul e protejat la scurt de propria siguranta. Verifica sa nu fie arsa. Daca da, cumperi de la magazin una si o pui in loc. Iti ia 10 secunde.

Siguranta e de 7.5A.

I used the audio signal from the rear speakers. If you system allows it, you can use it directly from the head unit. There is no adapter, only normal sound cables.

The guys at the shop preserved the original plugs and made a "T" cut to another pair of cables. Nothing fancy and very simple.

Cand am facut filmarea asta nu aveam sub-ul instalat, acum mi-am reamintit. Ce auzi este sunet curat din unitatea centrala. Cauta la mine pe canal sa vezi si cu sub-ul pornit.

Este foarte bun si pentru Passat, dar sa ai in vedere faptul ca va trebui sa il dai un pic mai tare, pentru ca ai portbagaj inchis. Nu e complicat, avand in vedere faptul ca ai reglajele direct pe el si este sub activ (nu iti trebuie si amplificator). Am deja luni bune de mers cu el - foarte bun pentru masina, iar daca stai pe bancheta din spate si dai mai tare o piesa, iti face si masaj... :) Eu il tin cam la 30-40% volum, daca il dai mai tare... incepi sa simti si in fata vibratiile. Nu cred ca o sa iti zornaie tabla, stiam ca e destul de bine facut VW-ul, dar daca este cazul, investeste intr-o folie - doua de insonorizant si pune in portbagaj. Eu n-am avut nevoie, dar am insonorizat usile complet - nici nu se compara sunetul cu ce era inainte. Succes!

Aero Fan Mulțumesc pentru răspuns! Am un player Pioneer mvh-180ui şi mă gândesc că o să scot sunetul mai amplificat pt că are setări separate pentru sub. Am să-l cumpar şi eu. În afară de RCA, legătura de la baterie şi masa, mai am nevoie de ceva? Trebuie să mai leg vreun cablu?

21Axwell Cauta kit-ul complet de instalare pentru sub-uri (e pana in 100 de lei). Contine cablu de semnal, cablu de alimentare cu tot cu siguranta fuzibila si cablu remote (iti taie alimentarea cand ai motorul oprit). In kit, cablurile sunt bine dimensionate, merita 110% investitia, mai ales ca eviti riscul de a arde ceva, chiar si masina (daca sunt prea subtiri firele). Apropo, ca plus, sub-ul are propria lui siguranta fuzibila!

Aero Fan Clar asta fac. Nici nu mă gândeam altfel. Nu fac improvizații. Cred că cel la 10mm e suficient de gros. Nu ştiam dacă e neapărat nevoie şi de cel de remote sau totul functionează doar din RCA-uri. Acum am înteles perfect! Merci mult! Rămân dator de cinste!

Hi! The sub is really awesome and I'm not kidding. I'm still amazed of the power and deepness of it's output. Think of it's size - it will make your car shake at 30-40% of it's power. Inside the trunk it occupies next to no space, it's just a small box. Plug it in and it will make your ears hurt. :) Of course, there are many subs that are much better, but this Blaupunkt beats all in terms of price vs. performance: the package contains the box, the sub itself, the amp and cross over and volume nobs. And even the box it's not closed, but ported, for that extra reverb bass. Here, in Romania, the price is about 80 EURO's, so it's simply begging to be bought. If you want discrete sound, it's ok, if you want to listen to loud music, it's ok. I, personally, wanted a complete setup in my car, mostly for pop/rock and classic music. In it's current state, the frequency covered is 30Hz-23kHz (with 4 DSK/DCX Hertz speakers in the doors); the sub is rated for 30-200Hz, which is more than sufficient.

+Bass KILLER E un subwoofer cu adevarat exceptional: pret, marime, calitate bass, sistem reflex, amplificator incorporat... ce altceva sa mai ceri? Am ascultat si alte sisteme similare, dar nu au performanta lui. Recomandat pentru cei care nu vor sa asculte muzica impreuna cu jumatate de judet; este foarte bun pentru completarea frecventelor joase, atunci cand difuzoarele stock nu pot face fata.

+Szymon Melewski Hi! Overall, they are better than the stock ones, by far! They sound even better than the Infinity speakers that are offered as high end equipment on Insignia. In order to obtain the maximum quality, you have to use sound dampening on you car doors, in the front and at the back. The sound is not amplified, because the head unit output is sufficient. +Aero Fan Aero Fan Wow that was a quick reply. Just quick question I got after market pioneer head unit which has 4x50w (4x22 rms) would it be sufficient to run these? What's your headunit output? Lastly did you put a lot of dampening on the doors? Again thanks for your reply.

+Szymon Melewski No problem. :) The factory head unit puts out 4*20Watt of power and the speakers are rated much higher; you will have plenty of bass and clarity of sound. Remember: the speakers have to run for aprox. 2 weeks before they reach full sound potential (like a car's new engine). The doors have had plenty of sound foil put into them, about 6 sheets in 4 doors, mostly in front ones.

+Aero Fan Aero Fan Thanks a lot. So how loud should they be run at first. Can you damage speakers by running them quiet loud at first? I will go tomorrow to a car audio shop for sound dampening staff and speakers. Although I may get one higher model and maybe an amp. I quiet like the sound of you speakers even though I cant hear them. When I recorded with my s6 edge my speakers sound very crackly and compressed compare to yours.

+Szymon Melewski You can use them as you wish from the very first minute, but they are very stiff (if they are new, unused). You might be disappointed when first listening to them, thus, as I pointed to you in the last comment, you have to be patient for a couple of weeks, in order to let them become loose enough to play well (don't worry about doing damage, they will be ok). Now, if you want to make them scream, put an amp, but on my set, at about 40 out of 60 max. power level, I cannot hear me thinking. +HemiV12 Sigur PRO. Este extrem de mic si de puternic pentru configuratia pe care o am eu (Insignia in 5 usi); la instalare am fost intrebat de asta, pentru ca o masina cu portbagaj clasic are influente negative asupra sunetului pe care acest sub il produce, in sensul in care atenueaza destul de mult din el (!). Pentru masini ca a mea (tip hatchback), se aude foarte puternic inauntru, sunetele sunt bine redate (ai reglaje direct pe el) si ocupa un spatiu relativ nesemnificativ in portbagaj!
