A flight from Babadag doing B line stalls, full stalls and wingovers aboard my Sigma 8 under the guidance of Jockey.
A very smooth and level manoeuvre.
You make a boat that is so difficult to sail, look easy. Perseverance has paid off.
Its taken a while but I'm getting there.
I can't believe how relaxed you look going so fast. One mistake and I know what can happen. I think you've tamed the Moth, well done. X

What a good little video showing the differences between conventional boat sailing and the Moth. You're either on the point of balance or you're not! No room for error or slow manoeuvres. Well done it looks amazing when foiling and super fast.
Hi Tom, I thought that looked like a Moth, but I had to check the description. It looks epic. Are they hard to sail?
Its very hard to sail, it just wants to capsize! Amazingly it actually seems more stable when its up on the foil.

Nice!! Any advices on foils settings numbers please? Coming from a Nacra 17 MkI, now have an MkII but difficult to know what foils settings to use. Cheers from New Zealand and Kia Kaha!!
Ive only sailed it twice, in those light conditions a generous 3.5 seemed to work. Its a converted boat if that makes any difference.
@@TomGarner4505 Yeah, Retrofit boats are a little bit heavier so that would probably impact the settings
Amazing fun. Looks like it requires a lot of concentration to fly both hulls together. A good challenge!
We did get a bit wobbly a few times.
Looks like fun! My worry would be the foil clouting somthing solid (whale, porpoise).....
I've hit a few Jellyfish before and they stop you pretty sharpish.

Hmm yes your quite right. However it was filmed 6 years ago and my camera gear wasn't new. Tech has come on a long way since then!

Thoroughly enjoyed that video Tom. My own Unicorn (K756) hasn't been on the water for a few seasons now. Videos like yours help give me the incentive to get afloat again before it's too late .... coz I'm the wrong side of 60! ;)

@@TomGarner4505 cheers! I've also been inspired by Will Stefanou's re-decking and painting (green!) of GBR 1098 on the Facebook Unicorn group. With the winter ahead of us I've got no excuses for not getting my boat ready for next season!

I have to run over the bridge during cross-country at school lol.
You need to have been on a short course in how to fly and handle the wings at a paragliding flying school, be a member of the BHPA and then go fly, in simple terms.
I was on that mountain a few days before that!!!! - That looks great - how can you get into that kind of thing??? - I thought i was an extreme sports person!!! Do you need a plane??
