I would die if one day we get BoCo revealed for this line. It would be that same feeling of Henrietta in adventures where it’s just like: “well, I didn’t realize just how long it’s been, but glad you’re back!”

Despite some gripes people may have, I’m hoping this a good step in the right direction! At least for merchandise

Genuinely really cool that merchandise of ttte is actually good again, it’s always been blips though, (made for a couple of years then disappear) but nonetheless amazing when they do actually show up. (Think like new redesigned wooden railway, new trackmaster, new push along as seen here, etc.) Off topic I know but I’m eventually gonna get the G scale Thomas characters, they look fucking amazing. I hope they make at least Edward, duck, Donald, Douglas and Oliver, they’re reasonably small and wouldn’t be like too overkill in terms of tooling costs, although I’m not a model railway company so I don’t know these things. I do know however that a g scale henry and gordon would probably break the bank for Bachmann.

I really want 2025 to be the year that wins back the crowd for Thomas, particularly in the Wooden Railway range. It's my whole reason for voting for Duck, Donald, Douglas, and Oliver on the Japanese Thomas website day after day, as those engines deserved to have new Wooden Railway models two years ago. I know they're who I'd be releasing in 2023 if I were in charge of the Wooden Railway line that year. It's not like Mattel isn't trying in other merchandise ranges, as they're giving us a new Trackmaster Thomas model who looks more like his 1984 series counterpart, a new Push-Along Thomas who actually feels like a cross between his Push-Along and ERTL models, and MINIS of a Golden Thomas with an illustration of his Railway Series counterpart and a Diesel 10 who looks more like his Model Series counterpart (as a tie-in with the 25th anniversary of Thomas and the Magic Railroad, the movie that introduced his character). Thus far, the only new Wooden Railway model I've seen for 2025 is the Day Out With Thomas model. Thus far, my ties with Mattel are still cut and they will remain that way until they stop mistreating Thomas altogether. As it is, I've jumped ship to many of Thomas Wooden Railway's competitors that put more effort into making their wooden train products great, including BRIO, Maxim, Melissa and Doug, Orbrium, NameTrains, and ZanyTrains.

Genuinely if Mattel made the classic series just free to watch on RUclips (and I'm not talking about those episode compilations where it's just random episodes thrown together, I'm talking about full seasons or just individual episodes) and then in turn did toys based on the classic series again, I could see Thomas being a big nostalgia brand. Give us a die cast line like the Cars one with a bunch of variety in characters and rolling stock and I would be first in line to collect every release.

To me, it’s like a hybrid between the model series, CGI, and AEG. The face mold and overall look of the CGI, the eyebrows of the model, and the trucks of AEG.

What I like about the new possible toys is that their designs seem to recicle some of the good aspects of the AEG line to improve old concepts. - the longer red lever in track masters require plastic bodies to be bigger, but also allowing for more detail on them. -The usage of thinner tires on the pull and play toys, but allowing more emphasis on the coaches and the implementation of fake side rods as an aesthetical illusion.

This looks like a celebration of metal thomas the shade of blue looks like 2013 the funnle which looks like adventures but larger and the side rods from eartl and push along and the face the everything I LOVE THIS-like imagine if Mattel pulls a 360 and puts a CGI episode for the 80th (but its a slim chance) BUT PLEASE MAKE MORE I WANT PERCY PLEAS- but this may be a new Era for Thomas

Again like I said on Facebook I don't know how to feel about this I'm happy it looks like a Thomas toy but at the same time I don't like the oversized wheels and stuff so I don't know if I'm supposed to like this or hate this can someone help me make up my mind.

This looks like a strange mix between Ertl and Take Along/Take-n-Play.

What I don’t like about this model is the AEG trucks, unpainted lamp, and siderods

I feel like the side rods at any capacity are a welcome tribute to this model. We should just be appreciative, since they are going that extra step
