Hot-rodded cheap monos vs. old school power amp (Fosi V3 Monos + Sparkos SS3602 vs. Parasound A23+)
Last video I replaced a $2,000 preamp/headphone amp with a $400 one I liked better. Can I do it again with hyped up cheap class D monos hot-rodded with discrete op-amps and replace my $2,000 class A/B power amp? It's the Fosi V3 Monos + Sparkos SS3602 vs. the Parasound A23+
My system: Q Acoustic Concept 30 speakers, a MacBook connected to a Matrix X-SPDIF 3 DDC and an SMSL VMV D2R DAC and both an Xduoo TA-84 tube pre and an Aune S17 Pro SS pre. I listen nearfield in a small room.
