Thanks for reviewing this game, much appreciated. 👍
Ok so to 100% 2nd encore I just have to beat the story mode with all the characters? I’ve tried to google how to 100% the game and nothing gave me good details. Somebody reply with the answer
There's also tasks/ challenge you have to do with each character to unlock palettes.
I’m just watching this now 😂
Great video! I already play this through Boosteroid, it’s so convenient, I don’t even need to download it. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to bother with hardware!
Huh? Weird review 😅
I wholeheartedly agree.
A interesting game that I kept on my wishlist. I have been seeing good updates for this game so I might pick it up during Spooky Oct XD. Thanks for the quick review.

Loved the game, but boy, that fkn water temple trial can suck deez nuts.
Thanks for doing this video, I'd never heard of the game before. It seems kind of like a blend of Mario Land and Blaster Master Zero!
Nice
I made agame for 5$. Is there anny hope for Me❤. Gonna send a key if needed. Regards. And 2nd Game on the road🎉😅
I'm surprised at your comment about how building a deck functions in StS because it's what makes it great, balancing long term synergy with short term necessities. It's the epitome of skill and has little t do with chance even though of course RNG will create insane runs and not optimal ones... All the more weird to say this that you have brought the characters to A20 which demands that understanding of the game.
Well I'm probably wrong and there is probably a winning strategy. There is someone with 6k hours and a 20 win streak at Ascension rank 20 after all and their loss could be contributed to a deviation from that strategy of relying on intuition.
Is that Story of an Artist as the background music?
It is the title screen music for the game which is called "Night Sky". For most of my reviews I try to use the title screen music if there is any.
The Credits screen is NOT broken, I was just too impatient to wait for them.
I have a feeling there won’t be an exact heart equivalent in sts2
I would be down for that.
Great review. Awesome game. I just 100% completed a few minutes ago. 😂
putting rose on your party instead of alisha after giving her all that momentum was a big mistake , she was the first person to make a pact with the protagonist she was the reason sorey left the land of the seraphim and then rose joins your party because "there isn't no human who can understand what sorey feels " completly ignoring the fact that alisha was there for the first 15 hours of your gameplay understanding sorey to the fullest , that was a major plot hole and a major L from this game .
Have this on Wii U
Fantastic game! Can't recommend it enough. Thanks for the review!
It's a classic
Love this game! The soundtrack is fantastic as well
I just beat this game. It was a lot of fun
125 combinations of plane parts = 125 different remixes of the Luftrausers theme music. Worth it for that alone.
but i laughed at 0:33 !
1 year latter and I'm gonna comment like it's just normal.😂 This game is amazing. I remember the original being EVEN HARDER if that's even possible. I mean the game itself is a good challenge but it is so...incredibly obtuse about it's mechanics and it activelly doesn' explain jack shit and expects you to just figure it out. Sure that can be fun for some but for the avarege gamer...it's a big no no. Still i love it, but the visuals and lack of warning in the descriptions can't be ignored. Fun video mate, mate me remember so fun stuff that happened during my playthrough.
Thanks for the info.
hey community. i'm new to the game and can't figure out why half my archers don't help with the fighting (i'm on the first island, so only getting attacked from one side). am i able to choose which side they go to or do they automatically split evenly between the two sides?
They automatically split. Even though you're only attacked from one side they evenly split as if you were going to be attacked from both sides. They will turn around and attack but only if the enemy is right there.
@@fivedollargames55555 got it, thanks!
Five dollar games pree-senting straight facts, no idea how this game has so many positive reviews.
Nice review, made me want to play it (even with the negative point on the soundtrack). thanks!
Glad to see The Mary Skelter Trilogy get the attention it deserves Neptunia is good and all but like @jasonblalock4429 said it's Compile and Idea Factory's best series (Though Death end;reQuest 1 and 2 and it's upcoming spinoff and 3rd game deserves some honorable mention) I am kinda interested in Neptunia however.
I’ll eventually get this Ver . Of the first game so I can sell my prior version. I just got II :) I love guilty gear, Blazblue & Melty blood and of course UNIB. There’s so much charm put into all these 2D or cell-shaded fighters.
Great video! Very well made! What's the ending? Spoil it for me
There's multiple. For one of them the protagonist plays video games for all eternity. Also Dumbledore dies.
@@fivedollargames55555 Man Our Dream
Yeah, these games are quirky and over-complicated, but I think they're probably the best things that Iffy/Compy have ever put out. There's actually pretty good design, and the scenario and stories are genuinely creative. Certainly a lot better than another lazy cut-and-paste Neptunia sequel.
The concept of Neptunia is awesome but i see why people don't like the stories (Mostly because the first game had zero budget) but i still want to give the series a chance.
Thank you for the review.
Broforce becomes 10x better when u play it with the bros. Jeez who am i kidding they need our democracy and liberation 🗿

Interesting. The randomized map has me a bit worried, but it sounds worth checking out
Spire doesn't really allow you to "pick" you build. You just have to make it work with what you're given. That's the rogue experience. Also, restarting from X position in a run isn't very variable as the game changes so much based on your actions and path taken. 10 people could play the same seed and all get completely different runs.
I wouldn't want to restart from position x. (Even though with seeded runs you can already sort of do that). I wouldn't want a permanent save system either. Just a restart battle option. Because although you say the game changes so much, there's a lot of things that don't. Each enemies AI only has 1-3 options. You do have to make due with what options you're given but that's also the point. If you're unfamiliar with builds and each of their viabilities and drawbacks in combination with the enemies you'll be facing, then you're just guessing when you're playing. You're relying on chance instead of making a plan and executing it. And to be fair, that is a way some people enjoy playing, and you are correct that it's more inline with a rogue like experience. However, based off the state of Slay the Spire 1, and assuming Slay the Spire 2 will be similar (if it's significantly different like a new direction for the game throw my suggestions out the window) I don't think a restart button will inhibit those people from starting over and playing the game the way they want to. While a restart button would help me with how I like to play the game.
You should not be able to fish for better RNG. Your deck has to be able to handle lesser RNG. There should, however, be the option to revisit earlier runs by actively redoing them from any spot you reached. This revisiting would not be recorded in any way, but could be useful for giving insights.
The damage being done to the heart, is just score like if you have a Combo you get CCCombo, if you can do a bunch of damage you get Overkill ect Also its weird having total score interact with "The True Ending" of a Rouge lites as rougelites are supposed to have an unending feel
As long as the damage feels more connected than it currently does in the second game I'll be satisfied.
Try playing manor lords I'm not sure if it's already purchasable in steam but I promise that game is worthwhile ❤
First
damn, beat me to it
It can eat up a ton of time getting set up again if you're on the last islands and end up dying. That was one thing I did not like about the game. How it destroys all your walls and turn all your recruits back into beggars. Even if you've sealed the mountain portal on an island this happens.
I don't really understand what your problem with his video is. He was just explaining that he created using psychology and experimentation, and said that it wasn't perfect. He didn't morally grandstand or call other methods wrong. If someone is watching his video, they're looking for a generalized solution to get someone into gaming.
The main thing, was that the last thing he talked about was more important than the rest of the video but he only spent 30 seconds on that, and 20 minutes on things that are arbitrary. Things that are more important deserve more time than things that are less important in my opinion. It would be more helpful if the focus was trying to find ways for someone new to video games to have fun. Or ways to persuade others to get into video games. Not that Mario is too daunting to get into video games. Heck, one of my sister's only video games she enjoys is the first one she played which was Super Mario Bros. He used an example from his life of what he did, I used examples from my life. They do not align with what he talked about for 20 minutes. And hence this response, since other options are more worth talking about.
Aside from the mobile game, there is a webcomic that goes over more of the Skullgirls lore, starting from when Marie first got the skull heart. They finished the first season of chapters this year with a second hopefully on the way.
Thanks for the review, glad you had some fun with it!
Here. A comment for the algorithm. Good review
One of my favourite games ever made
hi, one of the lumba devs here; we do in fact love making games and the community posts are satire and ironic. We have a somewhat small and close knit community who we mostly direct these updates and patches to, and they all understand the posts about hating our work is satire Thanks for this video also, didn't know about the part where the counter cuts off on screen lol, will fix that asap, thank you again for your criticism as it really does help us out
Omg its the legendary lumba dev, i love your games
I love the Zestiria soundtrack
Literally bought this game on Steam with the same discount yesterday - this video's thumbnail activated some neurons 🙂 In fact, double-dipped it, since I also have it on PS3. Have a soft spot for this game. Quite a gem 😌
