@Daniel Dominguez yes, it sure is. I need to make time to make the dealer fix it. There is a fix out but my dealer is a PITA to work with. They require an appointment and to be able to reproduce and I'm always working so haven't been able to get it taken care of. Google PIP5653L and you will find the fix.

@Daniel Dominguez awesome! Good choice! It's a great truck otherwise. The noise is pretty subtle as well. I feel like it is quieter now but may be a placebo effect. If it bothered me a ton I would have gotten it fixed already.

Resonator is deleted in all 3 videos I belive. May have been a temperature difference I think.

I’m on the same boat. I’m not sure which one to get, S-Type or Atak? I don’t want it super loud, but also don’t want it too low. I had a 2016 Camaro 2SS that I like how it sounded. Would like to have something similar when it comes to noise level.

@@BERTO929 the atak seems a little tinny in comparison. To me, the S-type sounds a little deeper and more refined with enough volume where I wouldn’t be embarrassed to daily drive it. The touring seems too quiet to be worth it.

I mostly use the toggle in parking spaces to prevent door dings haha. Why would you need a light on the steps if your door wasn't open? Lol.

@@philipgonzales3 borla is full of shit lol i think all the atak crates sound the same they just want you to spend the extra $ thinking its tuned for your specific engine, really i think theres around 7 or 8 chevy ataks how many ways can you change the baffles inside, all the same! i have a 2011 silverado been searching for months & i almost spent the $ 1029 delivered for the s-type cat back 2day but then i keep thinking i want the atak but ill have to get a set of dual tail pipes with a y-pipe for the atak crate since they dont make the atak cat back for that year but i would save around $500 doing it that way, wont be quite as nice of an install but its my only choice for the atak set up! i evrn had a borla rep going to sell me just the s-type muffler from the kit single in, dual out for $450 hell might as well get the whole kit for that much but i was trying to save a $ lol nice truck 👍✌

@@philipgonzales3 ok thank you because the noise its to bad hope they coming with something to fix it.. even if I put grease can I fix it little bit or no..

@@antonioporras215 I'm not sure. I don't think so as I think someone would have tried this already on the forum. Might be best to go to the dealer and have them take a look and maybe they can do something for you. Mine isn't too loud and I've gotten kind of used to it for now sadly.

@@philipgonzales3 yeah I took mine to the dealer 3 times all ready im gonna take it again next week I'm gonna tell them to grease all the points on the side it might help it might not..

Yep, they make a loud robotic noise that I mostly notice from the outside. From inside the cab I mostly hear the thud when they they stop.
