Weave a row in the Down position, then weave rows 1-to 4 as described below: Row 1. I stumbled on this last week, and decided to try it because it was pretty, and because it is a simple, yet elegant design. I have to admit, though, that I made it my own by adding a twill treadling to it so that the design alternated. When I look at your twill, all repeats go the same way (looks like arrows pointing to the left); I designed mine so the first repeat goes to the left, the second to the right, the third to the left, and so forth. Yours is lovely, but I hate to just copy someone's work. The fabric I wove is enought to make a tote bag. I do have a question for you, though. What size yarn did you use for the warp and the weft? (For mine, I used 5/2 cotton from a partial warp in 5 different colors (threaded in the reed randomly) sett at 20 ends per inch in a 10 dent reed with 3/2 black cotton for my weft.)

Hey there! I just started on my first floor loom weave and stumbled across your channel. I'm working on a similar twill section and after seeing this, I might need to tie the last two treadles for tabby and start breaking it up with some tabby picks. It's lovely! :)

Thank you; I started weaving on a rigid heddle loom back in April or May of 2021, then upped my game by buying a used 60 inch, 4 shaft floor loom this past autumn, I must admit I'm hooked ! I love weaving and learning how to do new patterns. Last week I succeeded at doing some Honeysuckle overshot, it's so pretty and I truly enjoyed the process. Wishing you many happy hours of weaving, and please do share your projects with us :)

@@SimplySuja126 Thank you. I can tell from your video which sheds you used, etc but what I cannot see is the threading order of the heddles. If I could get that it would complete the picture. I have been a rigid heddle and tapestry weaver for a few years now and just last month made the move to a four shaft loom. This pattern would be perfect for a scarf I would like to make. Great video, by the way. Very well explained.
