Emergency evacuation at the cinema 🤣 In the screen with the film on, an alarm starts going off. The film stops and an announcement says they’re evacuating the building. We got as far as the foyer to wait (very crowded, everyone from every screen). This is on the top floor of a shopping centre, no one was actually made to go down the escalators. There were apologies, then a member of staff announced they’d resolved the problem & we went back. But they didn’t know where to restart the film from. Staff had to come and ask where we’d got to & relay it over the radio, rewind, go forward etc. And there’s multiple screens in there with different films, all on at that time!
