That church has long been an important part of my family. My grandparents were married there, as were many other members of my extended family; their children (including my mother) were baptized there, my parents were married there, my elder sister and I were both baptized there, and my grandparents are both buried in the adjoining cemetery. While I no longer consider myself religious, I still say this is the most beautiful church I've ever attended.
Very pertinent observation. Even though we may not be religious, our generation has a lot of experiences and memories that are church-based, from baptisms to weddings to funerals, not to mention the social activities that occurred at churches as a focal community centre.

We used to swim there as kids and there were a few who were crazy enough to jump off of the pump house,,,I was brave enough to dive from the Jacquet River Bridge but never thought twice of jumping off of the pumphouse...

Wolfville is in a rural touristic area. So you will find boutiques, coffee shops and small restaurants, but within 15 minutes is Kentville which offers complete shopping and dining options. The major urban area is Halifax, about 70 minutes away.

Not a producer, just been in R/C as a hobby since the 80s; sailplanes, U/C, helis , drones, etc..... Mostly scratched built and utilizing Ardupilot for the control boards; my RUclips page has a few videos of my R/C projects. However, lately as a result of these R/C flying rules I haven't gone out for about 2 years because for where I am the full scale control zone extends to 27 Kms away from home (we can't operate within a control zone).@@acadienproud2958

Looks like the confidence course we had at CFB Lahr. But then they added the 2 X 10 km run that climbed about 500 meters behind the city of Lahr. Just your average Army training. Thanks for the video, Francois.
+Charles Damery I was speaking to the army recruiter present (you see them at the end of the video ), asking how this contrasted with basic training course. He mentioned the obstacles are bigger to prompt teamwork, with the approach that a squad moves as a group, never leaving a member behind. Respect!
That's they way we always worked - as a unit - no individuals, you had to work as a unit, just like you would in battle. That's the whole idea of military training, working as a unit. In the Combat Engineers, nothing brings you together than built a bridge like a Bailey or the Medium Girder Bridge, all manual construction, usually at night with no lights. Tons of fun.

Listuguj First Nation, Quebec, the Beer Capital of New Brunswick! Nice video, Francois, thanks. We've got a new one for you in Saint John, The Hillcrest Baptist Church on Lancaster Ave., finally has a bell/cell tower now thanks to Rogers. Rogers had poor cell cover on the Lower Westside and the City wouldn't let Rogers put a tower on the water tower by the Martello Tower, and the next highest area was at the church. It actually looks really good, they put a cross on it and everything. If you didn't know it was a cell tower, you'd never know the difference. And of course the church get revenue from the tower for all it's project, so it's a win, win situation. And it improves the neighbourhood.

I'd almost say something about snow in May on the Gaspe, but I've lived on Miramichi, so snow in woods in May is normal. Nice video of the Chute Francois, would I be right in saying further down stream it's a salmon stream? Thanks for the video.
I would imagine so, as every bridge I cross on the Gaspé peninsula has a sign stating it is a salmon river ;-)
