You’re supposed to connect the hose to the pipe on the bottom to ‘let out’ water from inside the tub so it’s not full of water.

Thank you! You made it so easy! I have been paying $200 plus tips to get the tank/filter cleaned every 3 months, more so coz I was afraid to clean the canister myself. But your video walkthrough was so simple and easy that I was able to clean it myself and feel comfortable. My canister was filthy 😅 coz I had no one to come in 5 months 😢

Does it fit an aqueon 75 aquarium

This video was a godsend. My dad has a 125 gallon tank with a Fluvall FX4 on it that's his pride and joy, but he's away for a week and I realized that the outflow in the tank was very very weak. Thanks to this video I was able to disconnect the filter and get everything cleaned and fixed. Filter back to optimum capacity. I thank you, and my fish thank you! Will continue to watch your channel!

Did I see you put chlorinated water in your filter or is your tap water not chlorinated. That would kill lots of your bacteria for sure

what is the point of the red basket especialy if youve only got sponge under and sponge in it.. do you realy need to have it in yoyr filter?

Nice pikes, I have a female xingu 1 around 8 inches and she is a beauty always showing bright pink even without a mate

So I usually open the intake first but this way seems to be more efficient also I have a question about about the power my canister doesn’t even go a couple weeks and the output starts to look weak so I have to go in and clean it out and it does well after that but it’s the same cycle generally is there a way to boost performance especially with the intake because I generally like to watch debris get sucked up is that weird lol any advice Would be helpful thanks

Brother I think you're not supposed to buried java I've seen a lot of videos where they recommend not to do it bcuz they'll die I also have a lot of them but I just tie them to some rocks or driftwood
