If youre sudden frame drops and the ping increases, its really on UR4 since it compile shaders particles. To reduce that just run the game and just play the more you play the lessen the frame lost (if the game os closed you have to play it again )

main problem is its builded on UE4 which is one of the most unstable engines around. just turn down shadows on medium/special FX to low. Nvidia brothers keep runing DLSS on auto and Focus on ON. It will help a little but there is zero change in performance between All lowest and highest setining maybe 10fps in some situations.

my lag seems more on the server side no matter which bandwidth i have i always get 80-120ms ping

My phone plays just fine at max settings, the game says my phone is overclocked, which may be true, but its a redmagic 8s pro which was built to do that and stay cool anyways, and to be fair it stays around the same temperature as the air around it so it does its job well

I download it, feel laggy on mobile drop it, go back to genshin

I’m honestly convinced this problem goes after certain people (myself included) and leaves everyone else alone already had this issue with ToF and now this shit too Years of waiting for this game just so this can happen

I play with fiber and the lag is definitely server side for me, the ping jumps from 8-999 and pops up the "Reconnecting to Server" banner..

I think this can be remedied by just adding more sets in the future, which Im sure they will. The real problem is an the fact that an aero set echo can drop with havoc damage boost. When that happens that echo is actually complete useless. They should only make the echos drop with stats that are at least a little useful. If you get def or hp, its not ideal, but at least it has some benefit, however small. Having havoc damage on an aero character does zero.

Turning off vsync wont help vsync just locks ur frames to the hz of ur screen if ur frames exceed the hz of ur screen there would be screen tearing thats gonna make ur game look much worse

When I start the game, it takes a very long time to initiate the game and only lags when the game finally loads to the spawn place. Otherwise no lag at all. Why is this happening? No problem with GI.

Hmmm... It's basically the same as Genshin tho. A lot of set are dedicated to a specific element. There are even sets that are dedicated to just one character. Also, afair, there are no 2 piece set that gives crit damage to Genshin. Just remember that Crit Rate/Crit Damage stats are exclusive to weapons only. Genshin's artifact sets are also very basic on release. I do understand your point, but I think having a specific 4 cost Echo element being random will make the game more grindy. For example, if I am farming for a good Dreamless echo for my Havoc Rover, and I get a Atk+/Crit DMG for 2 piece instead of Havoc+, I would farm the hell out of that boss just to get e Havoc+ damage. Besides, the echoes themselves have special buffs for their respective element. Dreamless/Crownless buff Havoc dmg, Aix buff Spectro dmg, Rider buffs Inferno, and so on. Look at Heron and Bell turtle, they are intended for support units, so some players can get a Bell-borne turtle for Rejuvenating Glow set even if they are trying to get a piece for the Moonlit.

You have too many unreasonable demand just be honest it's just your ego and it will ruin the game for those who really put effort in the game. About echo you say there's nothing if the element is not the same. No you're wrong. At least you can still use the echo skill and produce different element dmg. And there's general element echo that can be used by any char like moonlit and lingering. You can farm them instead of other specific element if you're too lazy to farm many element and want to swap it between character. Just don't expect to have the highest damage. There's reason why they put 5pcs set, so that you can't cheat easy crit rate/dmg by using double same 4-cost echo and want to get the set buff too. If you want high dmg go move your ass and farm. If they listen to your ego then there will be no difference in power between lazy player and those who really put in their effort in the game. There will be nothing to show off. for a game like this where there is no PVP, they must give people the ability to show off. So actually the option is already there. you just want to be as strong as other player by being lazy. 👻

The game is an MMO but when I'm playing it, it still feels like I'm just alone in the world like Genshin Impact. You can meet random people in the field but there's nothing that we can help each other I feel like they were just NPC haha
