Moka pot

All the coffee machines use plastic tubes which are toxic when heated. The fact that they are BPA-free doesn’t matter since that’s only one of many harmful chemicals or resins that all plastic contains. Better to use portable coffee makers such as the French Press, the Moka Pot, or the Chemex. 🙂

I just got that last one. It was used, but in good condition for 1/5 th the price literally. Amazon showing $250 I got it for $50 and nitro to boot.

A lot of inaccuracies and misconceptions in this video. Far too many to address all of them. But perhaps the most notable… The Moka Pot does actually make espresso. Or, to be more accurate, very VERY close to espresso. When made correctly, Moka Pot espresso is nearly indistinguishable from espresso machine espresso in flavour, by most people. Precisely why most Italians own at least one, often more than one Moka Pots.

One thing I would like to bring up and point to is the word Mormon. Mormon was a prophet. Amen. As you can see... it mentions Hot Drinks... but not specifically Coffee or tea. When I look at "HOT DRINKS" you have to go back to the 1800's when this Revelation was given. What were the hot drinks at the time? Well... of course Coffee was one... so was tea... and so was Hot Chocolate. When reading the Revelation... you can see that the relative terms of what was prohibited was HOT DRINKS. And today... we know more about HOT DRINKS than they did back then. Here is what we know: Drinking very hot beverages can potentially harm your esophagus by causing thermal burns, increasing the risk of esophageal cancer, damage tooth enamel, contribute to staining on your teeth, and may worsen existing digestive issues like heartburn, especially if consumed in large quantities or at extremely high temperatures; however, moderate temperatures of hot drinks are generally considered safe.
