Maybe one of the events could be a giant worm going trough the ground digging tunnels. If you fall in you get teleported to another tunnel. If the ball fell in it would do the same! Btw epic vid!
That is a very fun idea!! I can just imagine the bugs popping out of the tunnels like little whack a moles

You can maybe add a thunderstorm that is the same as the one you showed in the video but random thunders strike on the field and, if a thunder hits the ball, the ball will be repelled in a random direction
I really like that idea!! I think it would be really funny to see a bug get struck by lightning too

I've already commented on it few devlogs before, but I would really like that you implement many different types of balls with effects. Just couple for example: heavy 🪨, extra bouncy 🍘, huge 🌍, hot ☄, pool 🎱, fruit 🍊, etc. The game is coming along very nicely, good job!🎉

Good idea for a game im thing for another bug maybe a cockroach 🪳
I really like the idea of a cockroach!! Maybe I could give it some kind of immunity to getting tackled as an ability 🤔

I know this is not kinda of a bug but maybe a leach it could stun enemies for about 5 seconds with a cooldown of 30 and on the field Maybe there could be like a puddle where the leach could get more oxygen how does that sound? because maybe when you have that implemented you could add like crustations or something it would be a real fun idea your underrated and Im giving you a sub.
thankyou!! i love the idea of doing a leach! ive also been toying with the idea of crustations too. I think if i put in some smaller ones I could definitely get away with it. maybe i could even have a beach themed pitch for them too 🤔

i know i wrote this under the previous video, but i really want to see a butterfly create a little tornado🦋🌪 and it would be great if you added other modes, e.g. volleyball, basketball, because it could attract more attention and more people would play it, it would also be interesting if there were missions and you could get different things like skins, characters, gamemodes
Don't worry the butterfly is coming 👀👀 Im actually planning to do a full story mode for the game where you play matches with different conditions and minigames throughout. I hadn't thought of doing modes for other sports though that could be very interesting 🤔

yea the old map was made using free assets so im making this new one from scratch. I just made a channel for suggestions feel free to chuck all your awesome ideas in there

Reminds me of pet soccer! Hope its free to play with some cosmetics that u could use for monetization... idea: use skins like in csgo's crate openings to maximize more returns
Wow i hadnt heard of pet soccer but yea they do look very similar haha. Unfortunately i think that it will have to be a paid game without online multiplayer :/ i just dont have the resources to develop/market a game with online multiplayer to make sure its actually good quality with lots of content and that theres enough people on the servers to find games

Fantastic dev log as always! It would be nice to have a settings to customize what bugs are on each team and how many bugs are on each team. If you’re still looking for bugs to bump up the bug count to 20, I have some suggestions: - Some sort of tarantula hawk that can stick enemies to invert their controls like a bastard - A mosquito whose abilities are randomly chosen from a pool of the last 3 or 4 bugs they tackled. I’m not sure if this is a particularly good idea, but it would definitely make matches more chaotic and memorable. - A cicada whose tackle launches enemies backwards - A jumping spider who can leap at enemies. If they hit the enemy, the enemy gets stunned and while leaping, since they move over the other bugs they can’t be tackled.
Thanks!! I really want to add in more bugs types, so its nice to hear I'm not the only one haha. I'm actually currently revamping the menu UIs to let people choose their teammates. Also the new bug select screen supports up to 51 bugs so I definitely think ill be doing something with those ideas in the future because theyre really cool!! I especially like the tarantula hawk + mosquito

@@borrotheleader Yeah, it was super fun! My only issue was that the bugs moved a little slow for my taste, but I think it’s just me being used to movement shooters. Ultrakill has done horrible things to my brain lmao

What about a worm that can shoot itself underground and then pop back up, leaving a trail and knocking over any bugs in its path. I think it would be cool to be able to line it up and time it perfectly to destroy a whole line of opponents.

@@borrotheleader maybe the same idea but with also a sand flea? a worm and a sand flea could have maybe the same superpower just with diffrent stats

Alex and Kim are both pretty busy with other projects atm and it feels kinda overwhelming to tackle something like aethermon by myself :') Maybe one day when we all have abit more time I'll go back to it though. Or I might get fed up of bug ball for a little bit and go back to it for a break haha
