It was the summer of 1979. I had gotten a Flyer from the Hot Club. The Cramps were to be in concert TWO NIGHTS, Friday August 24 and Saturday, August 25 (with the Sic Kidz.) My friend and I came to the Club on that Saturday only to find that the schedule had been changed: there was one show only, the night before. We missed the Cramps! (And the Sic Kidz.) Another act was now booked for Saturday night. Instead of a wild show, we got a very tame show, a band called Mrozinski. Boo hoo! But 25 years later, I finally saw the Cramps, at the Trocadero! Better late than never. Except for the Sic Kidz, whom I never saw.
