I Like The Sound Of The Joint When The Train Hits It
The WD5002AALX probably just needs a new connector or some resoldering.
I've never had a bad U-series drive personally. I've taken the silly rubber boot off every one I've owned.
The first 2.5 inch hdd(Toshiba ide 40gb )is from the first quarter of 2003
12:33 I have one of those Hitachi HDS721050CLA362s. Mine was factory refurbished and sounds like a 7K1000.D. Must have had a firmware update or something. I absolutely love these 7K1000.Cs. That distinctive beep in the seektest is what makes it unique.
This looks like 2001
Those old Seagates probably aren't doing anything because there isn't a controller present. The first IDE drives either had a small initial POST and waited for a command to perform the entire test, or didn't do it until given the command by the controller. I think it's so the computer can observe the test to make sure everything is working correctly. That Caviar 31600 sounds amazing. It's hard to find the ones that have the faster test. Also may I suggest cutting the amount of time the drive idles after it's turned on? Just makes the video easier to watch

that was loud sound all hard drive, man. that was very very loud

Does anybody know how much range and what type and how big battery is in trolley bus?
They dont have batteries, they get power from the power line trough those antenas
@@Ferko_does_dumb_sh-t if they don''t have batteries than explain how trolley is moving after those antenas are disconnected?
@@britkasablja007 those are ememergency batteries not for daily use or it could be APU
About 15--30 miles I believe, not meant for much more than a few blocks of a diversion
@@Ferko_does_dumb_sh-t "antenas" . Many trolleybuses have traction batteries which allow them to travel without overhead lines on purpose - like what you see here.
What seat were you in and where was this flight headed too?
Actually 80 mph is pretty normal for BART when there is a delay. The schedule speed is 70 mph specifically because they need to be able to speed up to catch up with their schedule if there is a delay. The entire system is designed to run at 80 mph, so they speed up to top speed to erase the delay. The schedule speed used to be much higher up until about 10 years ago, closer to 80 mph (77-78 mph). But as the fleet aged into a pretty terrible mechanical state and the new trains kept getting delayed, they simply had to put more padding into the schedule. So this is now a pretty normal occurrence.
Do you have an IDE controller for the seagate? If you don't, it may not run.
Unfortunately not at the moment. I used to have a USB to IDE, but it broke. I will need to get a new one.
@@zackarypetch-blevins751 Unfortunately they will need a dedicated IDE interface to work and not a USB one. I don't know of any USB bridge which supports 5V signaling.
I still use the WD10JPVX (very similar to that one) in my ps4. Last time I pulled it out to read the smart data, it had close to 45k hours and not a single bad sector or any other error (disabled head parking with wdidle3 of course). The ps4 is never turned off, basically running 24/7. The hdd was made in Apr 2014.
Wow! That drive I actually picked out at Office Depot in 2012. Dang those are some good smart attributes. Speaking of pulling drives from consoles, that 80gb toshiba and 20gb fujitsu at the end of the video were actually pulled from my ps3 and xbox 360!
That Samsung drive has a head crash
Yeah, I was wondering that. Plus It would always get stuck when not powered on for a long time. Crazy enough, the drive still reads and writes!

you dont see them anymore
They still get out and reconnect it with a stick sometimes I seen it. Think they just pull outta traffic
Good video !! + 1 suscriber ! From France 😉
Unlike the new WMATA cars , I like these
Oh trolly bus, the perfect love child between a train and a bus. No noxious fumes Mass transit Reliable routes Clean, prosperous, humble, yet decadent
Yes its very clean, as long as the power station is generating cleanly. If your local power station is burning coal, you're just kicking the dirt down the road.
Burning coal in a power plant is still cleaner then having thousands of diesel buses
and it inevitably becomes dirty once the battery gets scrapped
@@Rebelinootrolley buses have batteries?? Wtf is the direct current for then?
@@Anthony-nu5oc this one clearly does have a battery and many modern ones also are part BEV. Phun Phact.
Remind me when I was leave in San Francisco I use took Bart from Powell to Fremont and continue with bus to Milpitas Great Mall
Are they supposed to do that im confused lol
Yes.
@@RokeJulianLockhart.s13ouq alright

Yea So, The Buses that we had before the 2nd Batch of Flyers had a battery inside, and then we got the buses from the Czech Republic, Those buses took the hills Well, and had more seats..

Clean air vehicle.. But Pete is cleaner!
Bart has certainly changed in the last 16 years since I moved out of the Bay Area. The very last time I rode Bart was June 2005, when the cars still had only two doors on each side. Now, with three on each side. Expect a total of four seats were taken out to add an extra door to each side.
I remember in the 80s when they get accidentally disconnected, the driver had to reconnect them again manually.
trust me, I live in a city with these...you see this all the time still today
In Bucharest they still do this
Unless you have a contraption installed exactly where the bus is at, you still have to do that manually. The poles could be raised automatically but there is no way to control their horizontal movements so it's not going to happen.
@@jonistan9268 There is a Netherlands company that has patented a video system to do it automatically. Of course if you know where the bus will be within a few feet a simple system of a few boards near the wires works well to rewire and is used, for example, in Arnhem all the time.
That is very cool. Thanks. James.
I think the bus turns into a city bus Ngl.
How do they run when the power lines are disconnected?
i know vancouver trolleys not sure on the new ones, they have about 20 minutes to still go
A trolleybus without connecting to wires runs on batteries
They switch to rubber bands. Cheap power.
most use batteries or diesel
A short range ICE system or more likely batteries charged from the overhead wires
Ding ding! I'm a tram and I approve this video!!!!
