On the holosun optic, do I turn the horizontal adjustment clockwise(right) or counterclockwise(left) if the round is hitting a little bit right to where my dot is on the bullseye? I'm almost 3,000 rounds into my Hellcat OSP since I zeroed it with my carry ammo and I want to check my zero here soon but I forget what direction I'm supposed to turn the adjustment in case I find out it drifted(i have the 407k). I do have the manual that came with the optic but it confuses me so I have to ask so I don't have to bother making the mistake of turning it in the wrong direction at first lol Thanks 🙂

I have a Hellcat OSP(3in barrel version) with a holosun 407k green dot and I zeroed it in precisely with Federal HST 124 grain +P, and after testing out at least a dozen different brand 9mm target ammunition both 115 and 124 grain to see which had the closest point of impact to my zero to find the best training ammunition for me, it actually turned out to be The cheaper Academy Sports brand monarch 9 mm NATO 124 grain. Even at 25 yards and Beyond it's almost 100% identical point of impact as my HST carry ammo and it is very consistent unlike the monarch 115gr brass and steel case 9mm luger stuff which is garbage, so thats great because I'm pretty much just paying $12 or less per 50 rounds.

It won't cycle with those hollow points.

The smaller the bullet the more gun powder in the casing. The more gun powder the more felt recoil.

Disappointed you didn't show the target.

With that Warden, you don’t even need a direct hit, you just concuss the target into submission..

To get rid of the stickiness, you can spray clear matte fixative on it.

I got one in a trade and the rail missing on top is ugly BUT it being scalloped out allows you to throw on a scope with a large objective lense without needing a high mount so at least there’s that going for it lol

Take off the hand guard and use a can of cerocoat on it, then spray paint it.

you would really like the harry's holsters "infiltrator" holster based off your feedback. - also worth checking out blacksmith tactical v2, but I think Harry's fits your needs more. - edit - I dont think harry's has a light option so maybe the blacksmith tactical v2 would work best.

I don’t know why you would have “tack welded” that muzzle device on your 12.5. It’s going on a registered SBR lower……it’s a registered SBR lower…… I’m not sure why you would do that. You’re a cop? And BCM is shipping free BCG’s with their uppers. It says so on the order page. That is if you ordered it from BCM.

115 gr is best, I bought everything up to 150 federal, had a long range day, 115 gr was the best. I recently have been trying to get through my remaining 147 gr federal and it has way more recoil and even hurts my hand more after lots of rounds. 115 was the best balance of them all, is easy to find, and can find 115 FMJ/HP no problem for decent prices.

Only psa worth really buying is their freedom ar15s. They aren’t too terrible and their Chf line have fn barrels. But I’d still put a bcm bcg over the garbage tool craft and I’d make sure your barrel but is torqued properly. But even then you can get an actual bcm upper for the price of a Chf psa upper and bcm will send you a free bcg with their uppers. Psa premium isn’t worth the price whatsoever.

I bought one just to torture test and see what it does long term and what I have to replace. Will probably make a low quality video about it but do what every other RUclipsr fails to do. Because all the big jutoobers make a video on how accurate they are. Every single time. But hardly any videos about how reliable they actually are especially long term. Maybe 1 guy I’ve found showing primer blowouts from the firing pin hole being too large and the gas block becoming unusable after a few hundred rounds. The big jutoobers psa paid shoot 7 mags and say yep, it’s reliable and didn’t break. After getting sent a rifle we’re psa hand tested and hand selected every part to make their rifles look better than what you get normally Lol

Congrats. I just got the 18" version about a month ago. Mine has a stainless barrel. I actually bought a complete lower and a complete upper both on sale, so mine was actually about $130 less than what you paid. The two parts match right up. I haven't shot mine yet but will soon. I'm fine with the handguard that came with - which is just like yours. I put a tactical scope on mine (3X Nikon P223). Seems right. The .223 and .308 have very similar external ballistics out to 500 yards, after which they separate some - but I'm good with the scope. I think the trigger is fine. The grip is not ideal but is OK for now - super easy to replace with like an Ergo which I like. I have to say, come back after you shoot it before you pass final judgement. That's what I'm going to do - at this point I'm pleased - esp for the $$$.
