Her tumbling was very difficult and she landed them pretty well with seemingly stuck landings without fake luges, and she seemed to hit all of her dance elements and rotated them. I wonder why it only got a 9.750.
I think it's probably one of the last great choreographed and danced floor routines since! I had never heard of this gymnast, but she seems very special! Thank you for posting this yangxin90109010!!!
@@saragrant9749 well he is talking about the choreography, not who is stronger, the 2012 and 2016 code want more difficulty than artistry, the current code want more artistry so that's why the Americans got hammered
@@punchingkwan3052 and the Americans will come back with improved routines that incorporate both. We have proven to have some of the world’s best and will continue to do so, even with a code that has gone back to 2004 where dance mattered and tumbling could be disgustingly sloppy. It’s to be expected in a sport with a plethora of scoring, judging, coaching and so forth issues that have yet to ever be rectified. Of any sport it is the most corrupt and evil. Thank heavens the sport I am involved in understands how to treat all athletes with equal measure, fair and equal rules that are not open to bias and bending, and where all athletes know how to show respect to each other, as do the fans.
And who is an Olympic floor champion, a three time gold medalist and a six time medalist overall? Yeah, I don’t think Aly needs to take any notes 🙄. Here’s an even better thought- who ripped off their medals after the ceremony because it was silver instead of gold? Who is currently facing sport wide suspension for state sanctioned doping? Yeah, Russia should be the ones taking notes- on sportsmanship and honesty.

Amazing routine! All the people connected with her.
She showed so much promise at this meet. She should have had much more individual success than she did.
Underrated routine and I think this Russia team seems to have slipped down a memory hole or something - not often talked about just how good it was.
Im huang and im irNianian
She’s a great performer/dancer as well as being an awesome gymnast, wish she made it to Athens
This spanish commentator is always so bad lol she doesn't even recognize a double from a triple twist
And if gymnasts could do this then why is the dance in floor routines today so lacking. And yes this was way better than Raismans routine
Considering Aly won the floor title in 2012, I’d say that statement lacks much merit.

00:45 that tumbling pass can be easily be one of the combo series in Tekken.
That second pass was AMAZING!
What happened to brilliant choreography like this. Gymnastics has sacrificed beautiful and innovative dance for power tumbling and it's boring now 😴
Iconic ❤️❤️
In 2000 Olympics, literally any Russian could medal on floor. They were outstanding...and I'm Romanian.

I much prefer Lobaznyuk’s gymnastics over Zamo. But can’t be denied Zamo had a lot difficulty for this era.

This was Yekaterina's best floor routine of her career!
Double layout is a Super E element in the old code ?
This routine reminds me of Ana Pavlova 2008 FX. They have similar tumbling, and line.
