The Southeast Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (SEMHTTC) is located in Atlanta, GA and is housed in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. We are proud to serve the eight states in HHS Region IV: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Our Southeast MHTTC team is made up of Emory University Rollins School of Public Health faculty and staff. Our expertise in public health programs, systems, research and evaluation provides a unique lens through which we can address mental health priorities. Our goal is to accelerate the adoption of evidence-based mental health programs by providing training and technical assistance to Region IV.

Making Sense of School Mental Health: A New Graphic Tool on the Role of Teachers - Part 2
Making Sense of School Mental Health: A New Graphic Tool on the Role of Teachers provided recommendations on how to translate complex concepts about children’s mental health and school mental health into visual aides to enhance understanding. In this session, we provided a new graphic tool designed to help you communicate with teachers about their role and the role of other adults on campus in supporting school mental health. Participants will be able to access and implement the graphic tool with a full suite of support tools.

This was extremely well-made, and the'plain English' style makes this a useful resource to share with non clinical folks too! Love hearing echos of 12 step concepts within ACT and other '3rd wave' modalities! @southeastmhttc6095 Would slides be available to viewers for reference...?

Very unprofessional to have your child there and interrupting. We are all professionals and our time should be respected. I would love to listen and learn more about this topic, however, the baby is too distracting and not in a good way. Sad that tbe presenter thinks this is ok.

I have been traumatized, as an immigrant (from a black-dominant culture), by a reconning of the sheer volume of AA men enduring SUDs & justice involvement, in comparison! Should we be teaching people to be resilient:- to expect it in the historical context? Should we empower to normalize, project, and propel beyond it, prioritize healthy (interracial) relationships, mental and physical health, and be aware of how/what we value as success?
