Hail Fellow American, After watching the most recent episode of your address to the community I was taken aback that you seemed to support the McKinley-esque views of that troglodyte Trump. Why espouse the views of a man who has praised tariffs and bringing back the gold standard? You say he stands for the common man? A real estate mogul with an Ivy League education? He has picked the richest man in the world to be his chief advisor bringing back the views of Bourbon Democrats reestablishing the policies of the gilded age. Trump's tax cuts will be inflationary, his tariffs equivalent to a sales tax; a highly valued dollar leads to less exports and more imports; reckless spending leading to a ballooning of the debt; less labor means higher labor costs and more offshoring. As for foreign policy, the man is not an interventionist as much as an extortionist. Give Taiwan to China in return for soy beans, give Ukrainian land to Russia for an empty promise. NATO better pay 3% to USA or they can be invaded. What balderdash! My disappointment is limited by the fact that the so called progressive candidate was running on a platform similar to Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight D. Eisenhower and lost in a close election, while being painted with the brush of foreign propaganda to distort her campaign message. For example Harris (and Trump before her) would have followed the US legal code on allowing prisoners of the US government a respect for their civil liberties to affirm their gender identity. If you don't want the government to pay for surgeries then release them onto the streets. With regards to oil production,why take on the burden of being a global leader in green technology, when we have already forfeited that role to an adversary? These debates about immigration are reminiscent of the 1900's when pesky whites from Ireland showed up and Chinese immigrants were excluded from citizenship for not being Caucasians.

Couple of questions about school districts. Why are parts of Burleson and Cleburne in Joshua ISD (and part of the growth that "requires" bonds) when both cities have their own districts? Does the growth in the district not come with an increase in property taxes as the land becomes more productive? How come the increased taxes are not enough to cover the growth?

I knew his kid in high school. She was a spoiled c u n t 😂 peaked in high school type of girl. If he cant raise his kid to be nice and respectful to everyone, how can he positively influence our state? this world is burning and these dirty politicians are the problem.

The burleson police continue to create division and try to commandeer the city council in order to get more tax payer money. "Supporting the police" doesnt mean blindly give them a blank check. Based on the previously police backed candidate, having a narrow agenda seems like a recipe for terrible representation.

Jennifer Williford here graduated in 2000. I am not allowing my kids to go to school today. I as a mother just feel more safe with them home with me. After that video that was put out by one of the Hamas Leaders on top of the "secure" border we have as the Biden administration continues to word it yeah I have no idea what could or may happen. Therefore, as for me and my household we will serve the Lord and we will remain as vigilant as possible. It is not, IN MY OPINION, if it this is coming to our land, but when.

Your opinion may be documented regarding Trump, but you do seem to focus on Biden...INMO.

How can a person contact all the current candidates running for the school board?

What are your values when it comes to stuff they are pushing in schools now. Everything in schools in the past 5 to 10 years. Is insanity. And child abuse. I am glad my children are grown. And if I had a child or grandchild, that was in school. There is no way my babies would be enrolled in this socialist/ communist system. That is brainwashing our children in America. I wish somebody would be honest about their beliefs. But I do understand. If you are against thier ideologies. They would keep you from running. That is the real reason nobody wants to be in the school systems . Violent children, and pay. You still had teachers. Now nobody wants to be in this kind of system. Unless your apart of the sickness. And who can blame them if they say. I need a new career. Or I will have to sell my soul to satan . Just to be a teacher. How can a God fearing , humabeing be for people in school districts that have this sickening power over our babies, our futures. I could recieve bad karma ,just because I unknowingly elected a trustee over children. From someone who could do this to little children against their parents belief systems. Just because of a political take over. Am I even living in America anymore. Do you have a way to talk personally so I can make an informed vote for the little children of burleson tx. I would not expect you to be vulnerable on - line. I only have a few days to make my decisions on the bisd votes. America is dying. This means everything. Our children, our future. SAVE THE CHILDREN. Sadly, my husband played the golf course and took two friends...it wasn't as good as he'd hoped. It was hard that balls bounced so much and I know it's a process, but it was very disappointing. I think I talked it up since so many had mentioned how much money had been sunk into it. Hope it gets better!

These people were emboldened by the tangerine tzar. They know their base will belive anything they say, and do zero research on what's been said. It's a sad time in our town, our state and our country.

I'm glad Council Woman Payne wont make an appearance on your show. We have heard enough of her and her groups ugliness. They always play the victim but finally people are catching on to them and see they are the aggressors. I can't wait to vote this woman out of office. She has brought nothing to the council but embarrassment with her attacks on citizens.

Tamara and her family are an embarrassment to the Burleson community. There is constant drama with them. I'm tired of seeing it. We have witnessed Ms. Payne record phone calls for another council member when she should have instead been helping. She is often hateful to people who speak at council meetings. She wants to go on this talk show to defend herself, but not once has her sister allowed anyone to defend themselves on her own show. If you speak out against them, you will be attacked on social media. We saw her husband confront people over election signs. Her sister uses her radio station to call out anyone who speaks out against their behavior. And she ran her campaign on lowering the debt just like Mr. Stamford did, but yet they are increasing debt. At 67 years of age, I'm concerned about our city for the first time ever.

Her temperament is incompatible with the position of councilmember. Our council should never appear hostile to our small business community and she’s created that dynamic more than once. A good representative of the city and residents should be able to navigate tough conversations with respect and integrity. No one else on council steps out the way she does because THEY understand their role (save maybe Stanford), and how inappropriate it is, not because she has some level of bravery they don’t. They have respect for the people they’re addressing and a healthy perspective on the issue at hand- two things Payne and Stanford clearly lacked on this issue, and Payne has lacked several times. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right “seat on the bus” and councilmember just isn’t the right seat for her, especially if that kind of behavior is still justifiable to her, instead of a mistake she should be publicly apologizing for.
