James Gunn isn't diverse enough storywise to pull off as a head of an entire universe. TV doesn't get the same inerenet because it's self selective with a smaller market. Movies are for general and easily dumb down with everything so anybody can watch. Superman and Lois has done all the heroic talk Gunn hypes up as if his movie is doing something never seen before. If people knew Superman and Lois already did this then they would go and so?

There is a concerted effort going on backstage of this flick, and Fede has got this. The effort is to consolidate all the popular Alien properties and tie them together for the future productions in a way the audience loves and the producers can manage, all without pissing off Ridley. These trailers only scratch the surface of the prelude, and do not even get into the A plot or the B plot. I still say "grain of salt", but the things i am hearing out of the industry are all encouraging to me, as an Alien fan. Ridley DOES NOT own Alien anymore, and if he did then everyone would die by the end of every alien movie, except the robots. Not that aint still gonna be a thing. Grain of salt.

Saying that the VFX in the original are "clunky" because of the time period it was made misses the fact that Terry Gilliam directed the original and the VFX look 10X better than anything in that trailer.

You really shouldn’t have the audio playing from the background clips. Too distracting and nobody can hear Dustin over the trains

Interesting that he mentioned models having so many problems with photographers.I worked with so many and they were rude,not following their contracts and I told them not doing business with them anymore.I do have a favorite photographer and thankful the quality of the photos are amazing as well as being professional!
