Fixing lights and crew in a Dapol Class 22 is a test of patience. I soldered O805 LEDs of warm white and soldered a 0603 size resistor to the anode side as I usually do. I have used two 12 Volts 1 Amp AC Transformers, one to power up the reverse circuit (AC) and the other to Power up the Trains (DC). The power to the trains is regulated by a power potentiometer. Diodes to isolate the track ends are of very low resistance and hence when the polarity switches the trains do the reverse circuit without hesitation.

I have fitted SMD LED Lights on white lanterns that are prototypical. The decoder has been fixed in the tender. The fire box has a fade in fade out light also with SMD LED bulbs.
