When I look back on this show Will is a real jackass at times This guy is the one that treats her different while Sue gives Becky the chance to shine like anyone else. Will turned Becky away when she asked to join the Glee club which was rude af.

That smile with the head tilt Becky does when Sue tells her she's in melts my heart. One of my friends from high school had downs, it really pissed me off that the special ed kids were kept away from everyone else and taught nothing but service training...somehow she always found me for a few minutes a day and would hold my hand tightly while she happily told me all about her day. I later became her caregiver and she made me forget that I was at work. She loved to play and she loved life with her whole heart. She smiled so big with her head tilted too...she died a few months ago, just shy of her 31st birthday and I'm still frozen in place and wishing for just one more squeeze of her hand. RIP Chrysta I love you
Kinda like how Quinn, Tina, Roz, and Sue assumed Darrell was taking advantage of Becky? Are you talking about the immoral lack of faith in Becky, just because she has Down Syndrome? After all, that's why I condemn the way the women in Sue's office accused Darrell---because they didn't think Becky was able to get a boyfriend.
So Evil Sue has a close and heartwarming bond with a girl she will eventually make head Cheerio, but good guy Shue won't even let Becky try out for Glee Club. Makes total sense.
This is a big moment where you see the difference in will and sue’s ideology. She is the one who truly sees everyone as equals where as will thinks people should be treated differently based on who they are. Obviously it depends on the situation and a midpoint between the two is best but it’s honestly people like will who can cause a lot of harm without intending to. Some people who try to be “accepting” end up just othering people a lot.
I like how Will assumed she had some master plan for giving a girl with down syndrome a spot. Don't worry Will, you're still the only person who uses people that don't fit society's idea of perfect for his own personal gain and title.
Will doesn't know the truth about Sue's sister in this scene. He was scaried because for his previous experiences with Sue and when you see this scene for the first time is very difficult don't share his preoccupation.
The fact that mr. Shue said “be nice” shows that he already views Becky as different and less then. I can’t stand Mr. Shue. Sue had no problem with Becky she never said anything mean.

Am not a fan of Mr. Shue he is my least favourite character but to be honest the way he way reacted to the situation was the same way I reacted I was scared Sue was going to do or say something mean to her, and at the end of the audition when Sue said she was on the Cheerios I thought that she was going to use her in some kind of evil plan considering thats what Sue always does (coming up with some plan to destroy Glee club or just randomly picking on students).And seriously when Sue stopped Becky in her middle of her perfomance it made her even more suspicious. But at the end of it all its nice to see that deep down Sue has a kind heart.

Brittany bought Becky a cupcake, so Becky thought all Cheerios we’re nice and cool like Brittany. Becky ended up auditioning because of that small act of kindness from Brittany.

Brittany told Becky that she had to be brave and move on, and if she was prepared right the world wouldn’t seem so scary. I honestly think Brittany was talking about herself too. Brittany was scared to graduate so she deliberately flunked so she could stay in school, be in the Glee club, and get a second term as senior class President. She would do her final year right.
Remember when the Cheerios where in a meeting and Becky said she make out with a girl once and Brittany said “that was before I met you” to Santana? Yeah, me too.
