hello my friend，happy chinese new year。LL16D is a classical guitar model with high standard。IMO，if you are not a professional guitar player,LL16D could satisfy you with your daily play.If you have decided to upgrade you guitar, $3K or more could a good choice.

Hello magic Tong. I would love to thank you in Japanese. Unfortunately I can't. I am fortunate to have a few high end custom shop models at my finger tips and currently await the LL 56. The FG1500 is something other worldly it must be the past players that have played it alongside exquisite craftsmanship. Brilliant video with everything needed explained in your actions. Hey，I have checked the labels，there is no information about the maker,nither the singnature nor introdution.I also asked my friend who is a super fan of yamaha and told me that the former luthier of hi-end models of yamaha was Terry Nakamoto(founder of Terry's terry).But I can find nothing about the current luthier's information even on yamaha official website.I am sorry.
@@3mangt No worries, but I have always admired the Japanese craftmanship of Yamaha. They are simply amazing. I really wish they can revamp the LD series of guitar
There is very little information about Mr Sakurai and nobody knows if he has retired or passed. However I have an LL56 built in 2014 and it has his signature inside. They don't give much information away at Yamaha

Very good playing. So smart to re-arrange it on standard tuning not only to avoid the limitation of low deep sound generating from the parlor size guitar, it could bring out the punchy clear bass instead, well done.

Very well done comparison with seamless switching between.
Very nice to hear the comparison.Both are great guitars on their own right. Very close soundwise, yet subtle differences in sound and definition depending on the playing style. Other response and overall sound image: better definition for Goodall, more bell-like or grand piano like sound for the Avian. I have an Avian Skylark fan fret mahogany to complement an other boutique German Spruce/Indian Rosewood guitar. I love both of them, and the differences. Thank you for posting!
