I did time with JP, I owe my fitness foundation to him. The discipline, attention to details, and good form has helped me to train on a high level even after 40. Good to see him doing what he loves to do and helping others like he helped me. 🙏

Great story, good reporting. I have been following M3 for years and JP is doing good things and helping athletes to the next level. I was unaware of his personal story but it shows his growth and the knowledge and wisdom he can pass down to younger generations. Niceville has such amazing area of youth clubs, and structure and teamwork help build successful individuals, would love to see more of these. Example Gravity850 feeds all local high school state championship cheer teams.

I lived at the end of Kelly Road from my senior year to the year I left Niceville in ‘97.

I just want to give a shout out to Mid Bay news. I happen to be a conservative in Okaloosa County and had ditched the local paper because the articles were so inherently biased. This interviewer was a classic professional interviewer. I don't know his beliefs and he asked pertinent questions and let the guest answer the questions. Thank you for a breath of fresh air. Great job!

Imagine you knock on a door, announce yourself as a sheriff, and someone opens the door with a gun. Even if it is pointed down, you could be shot in an instant. It is a tragic situation and it is awful for the family of the Airman, but I am thinking that 99% of people would do what the deputy did especially if you have seen any video of a police officer being killed in a similar situation. I would imagine morale is low at the sheriff’s office right now since their sheriff doesn’t appear to have their back. If this guy was white, it would not have made the news because Crump would not be making a fuss about it. If you don’t believe me, go look up the head of the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport and look at how he was shot. No one cared.
