Swarms of Beautiful Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in North Mississippi.
Oaks, scrub, and bamboo surround our rural home, giving our hummers cover and nesting habitat. Our jeweled visitors have grown in number from 4 (in 2019) to over 200 (in 2023), and we've gone from 2 to 20 feeders. Hummingbirds have come to love it here, and we started Hummingbird Barrister to share this wonderful spectacle with others.
