How do those lion fish taste? They don't seem very scared of you when you get near them.
Delicious, just have to watch for the spines. Easiest fish to shoot they just sit there.
Never had margate. What does it compare to? Not too shabby for a half day of spearfishing. Gotta leave a comment for the algorithm.

Sorry to say? But white men waste a lot of those fish that they got from the sea. Because you can also use the fish head and bones for fish soups and nothing gets wasted.🤔

What size Riffe Euro are you using in this video?
The gun I’m using in this video is a Riffe competitor 90 Cm. It’s a bit more sleek than the Euros.
@@josephblanco886 Oh ok. I was thinking it was a 90. I have a Euro 90 and haven't had an issue with power but I'm only inshore for now.
I don’t have any complaints in 20-40ft range. In the 50-70 range I prefer to move up to a 110-120

There's a big dog snapper at my spot that disappears the second it sees me. Is there a trick to sneaking up on them?
I recommend getting to your spot as the sun is rising. I’ve noticed that dog snapper and even Cubera snapper are more curious early in the morning while the water is still dark. Once you spot the fish try to approach it slowly. I did some grunts prior to shooting the one in the video, kept him curious for enough time.
@@josephblanco886 Not sure where youre spearing at, but East Florida whenever I see dog snapper hole up I dont hesitate and take a super quick breath to dive down in front of their hole. 90% of the time after they go in the hole they sit and stare out for a few seconds to make sure you didnt follow them and thats when you shoot them. Same thing in the video, he sat staring at you and the closer you got the more he started backing up
@@JakesSaltwaterTherapy I’m fishing in South Florida off the east coast. I agree! This specific dive was just like that. Once I saw em again I took a quick breath and went down. Can’t give them much time to think! Thanks for watching

Sick video 🔥. What type of gun and reel do you have?
Riffe Mahogany Competitor with a Riffe radial mount horizontal reel / 200 ft Spectra. The gun tracks good but any diving past 40ft I’d recommend a bigger gun. The other gun in the video is a 120 Killshot. Thanks for watching 🔥
