Had a bit of a blooper on this one. I was hoping to change the relief valve, flush the tank, and also change the anode rod. Unfortunately the anode rod did not want to come out so I will have to replace the anode in a follow-up video.
Please make sure before attempting any of these tasks, you must have the power to the water heater turned off and the COLD water supply off. You will also need a garden hose to attach to the bottom of the water heater. Please make sure to relieve the pressure from the water heater by leaving a HOT tap open at a sink or tub.
