Lock a target and shoot and it should work(if that’s what your asking)

@@NorminalGuy7 I lock a target and then shoot, but the missile often doesn't hit the target, and it sometimes despawns. is there a way to counter this?

What missile are you using?

If the missile loses lock it will explode to prevent friendly fire.

If it is the early phoenix, yes. Late phoenix/AMMRAM or R-77 do not, but it is recommended.

The bottom line(the green line that moves) tells you how far the missile will be able to hit a target that’s running away the top line tells you if it will hit a target that is currently coming towards you

@@NorminalGuy7 im on tier 8 now and i keep dying and im using f-14 how do i guarantee kill? please some advice

Use the phantom until you can afford the AIM-54A mk60 phoenix or better the AIM-54C is way better and until you get that it will be very inconsistent the A model phoenix has to have a constant TWS lock until it reaches 12km to the target the C model can hit the target without a TWS lock but it is inconsistent wether it will hit or not if you don’t have a TWS lock it is more complex then this but I will explain it better in the review I will do on the F-14

F-15 if possible the f-15 is one of the best planes then its a toss up the f-14 with the aim-54c mk47 is really great the, f-16c is great all around with the aim-120 c7

I think I’m going for the F14, also if you have a soft lock (square) and you fire your missile but you change your lock to another jet, will the missile still track? (I’m not native English and normally I don’t have a problem with it but this is a bit more complicated haha)

Also I was just thinking, I could also get the F15J instead of the F-14 is that a good option?

@@Idkwhattoput151 i mean the mig 29 is a mid fighter, not terrible not incredible, but i honestly the f 16 is better, newer, bigger payload, better/best missiles, maneuverability, radar, chaff/flares, everything. Overall the soviet tree is bad in everything, the soviet tree has the worst RWR, bad missiles, bad maneuverability, sluggish jets, bad chaff/flares, not even any semi or active radar homing RWR or missiles. I'd say the soviet tree is the worst tree for higher tiers. Nothing in this game is balanced anyways.

@@NorminalGuy7 War thunder content creator here, I tested this game yesterday and it seems pretty fine, tough, they need to upgrade the physics a little bit. Like roll rate etc. In general a good game
