Hey Albert, great videos man! I watched over 10 episodes in a roll. Subscribed! I do a lot of fishing in and around Vancouver waters, but I haven't done boat camping and having great lunch or dinner on the hook. Your videos shows you guys have a great time on the water, I will try boat camping next year. Quick question, your boat has 110V power without plug into shore power? Do you have an inverter on the boat?
@@diaoyutom Thanks for watching my videos. Yes, I have an inverter in my boat for 120v appliances☺️
Nice video and want to take the tanzer 22 up there next year Not sure how to launch solo there but will figure it out Thank you for posting

Hi Albert, thanks to your Chanel I realise that my dream of owning a boat can actually be possible! I just have a question regarding the features on the head cabin aka cockpit shower aka restroom, how do you take a shower on long trips? Cheers 🛥️😎
Thank you for visiting my channel. Antares 7 does not have a cockpit shower, but a shower at the boat transom. Antares 8 and above starts having cockpit shower feature. For the long trip, I usually dock at the marina for shower. Or use the transom shower.
Hi Albert, today I saw you at Deep Cove. Where did you get your boat umbrella for the back of your boat?
@@paulsillipp4886 It’s my old umbrella from my old boat. I brought it from the State😅
Would you know if still in stock?

The way you move around your boat is insane! Beautiful video and then at the end with that song “O’ surdato Nnamurato” by Roberto Murolo, for me from Naples was beautiful, thank you 😊
Thank you for watching. Just try to help other boaters if they are new to boating. :)

Thank you for you review! 👍 Antares 7 is just ideal for cruising, comfort and towing. If anyone has any similar alternatives same size, within the same budget please comment below.
Albert! Thank you for these videos your the man! What size waves are you experiencing in 10:02 -11:00. I live in California and the pacific can be rough like this. I grew up on boats but it is always hard to tell what sizing is going on through video. I was considering getting this boat. Thanks :)
Probably around 3 -4 feet high. Not very bad but need to be slow though.
Nice S U V bro
Hmm.. I've always been taught NOT to submerge the trailer. The wheels should never touch water. But here it's mostly salt water though. I usually stop before the water hits the rim, just tire in the water, and then just winch it out. It starts floating pretty quickly.
Nice to see you get ready Albert. I did the same with mine a week ago
Nice! Ready to rock and roll. :-)
Nice boa! How much roughly does the boat like yours cost?
Depends on what options you pick. Starting price is USD $78,000.00 + Tax according to www.beneteau.com/en-us/antares-outboard/antares-7-ob. Mine is over CAD $150,000.00 with boat trailer.
The way you launch and retrieve your boat with such skill and ease puts a lot of the other boaters in the other videos shown on youtube ,mainly in Florida, look like total beginners. No need for those bits of plastic sticking up to help them guide their boats on to the trailers. A masterclass in all aspects of boating.
Inland ramps look dreamy … our open ocean ramps in Hawaii surge out of control on a daily basis like nonstop tsunamis. That looked fun.
Inland ramps are nice and calm. :D
Good job
Hi Albert Ho. Just bought a 2012 ML350 bluetec diesel. Can you do a video of how you install your brake controller and how you setup the ML350 for towing (tow mode vs sport mode vs air suspension max high) and the regular maintenance you do to keep the ML350 going for as long as it can.
Ok I will try 😊
See the guy next to u had already released his winch before he got to the water? handle was pinging around and doin 100 revlutions, hope he didnt undo the safety chain as well
I always make sure the Engine starts before I leave the house . I don’t want to drive all the way to the lake to find out it’s dead for some reason. I seen this happen this weekend, skipper put the boat in the water, release it from the trailer and the engine wouldn’t start. Messed with it for over an hour. Put it back in the trailer and left. 🤦♂️
Wasting other people’s time that is in line too😅
@@albertho_ and that he did
I've been boating since birth, launching my boats from 18-42' with a car full of friends for casual days locally mostly on the great lakes, then on poker runs around the country, to this day the best way is for nobody to touch anything, I have everything under perfect control. Stay in the car until im tied to the dock. Any time people try to "help" it messes up my well planned launch, docking, or retrivial. Only other seasoned boaters are helpful, otherwise most people screw you up!
On that ramp way to long. More like how not to launch a boat.
yup quicker to back up next to the dock, pull it with 2 lines and tie up n get out. At peak times that is way too long
Like the statement at 3:20 "Slow is you friend, don't rush". I don't think that he would of had too many friends at the ramp that day upon that performance.
Must suck to do it this way in 40⁰ water.
Yes there is a boat at Rockley Point in Dorset England, called Seas the day too
Really good--the only thing I add, is a rope from my truck to the boat. When you got in the car, and slid it back a bit--yes, I know that you knew, it would not float off and that's cool. But for me, I have backed up--just a tad, and had the damn thing float off. So I use a cord measured careful, from the back of my truck to the boat at the attachment point, so I can haul it back if she floats off. Anyway, appreciate that you did not submerge the back of your car--no need for that as we both know. One more thing, you are younger and more agile, you climbed that trailer mount like a monkey--I can't. But I did see the coolest step--not cheap--that you attach to the trailer, so guys like me can mount and dismount the boat. You don't need it--obviously, but they are cool. Thanks for posting, this is important stuff for sure. You probably know, to let the weight of the truck be held first, with the emergency brake THEN the gears. But I see people ALL THE TIME, let the weight of the rig rest on the gears--bad, bad, bad. And if I may add, and I know many disagree with me, but I don't encourage boating alone, why? Everything on a boat--think about it, is "redundant", my main engine and a back-up engine, two anchors, two radios, two of everything. Yet, the most important thing, the person, only one? No back-up if YOU get hurt, or you go overboard. To my mind, redundancy there is the most important of all.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I did the research and try to install those steps to the trailer, but as you said not cheap. So far I can still climb up and down like a monkey. But one day I do need that for sure. Yes, I agree with you that boating alone is risky. But I like boating and enjoy the sea so much. Not that many of my friends and family will join me every time. Usually when I go boating alone, I won’t go far and take extra precautions. Again, thank you for your inputs. 😊
Yeah I hear that I really do. Boating alone is not so risky that it requires staying home.
That SUV is not large enough to safely stop that size of boat. This is a fail.
Do you know there is something called brake controller? It’s installed into the SUV to send signal to the boat trailer’s for braking. That’s an essential component for truck to tow a big boat. Here is the reference. Thank you for watching. www.etrailer.com/fitguidebc.htm?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-r-vBhC-ARIsAGgUO2Aa9eBZxJxCstgJh2y_o-DF_XQ7v5h-hxU_Z04fHrp4XwK7Xlg3OHQaApsrEALw_wcB
@@albertho_I think your towing capacity on that suv is what 3000lb? That boat, trailer and gear doesn’t weigh 3000? As far as brakes yes I’m familiar with them.
@@robertbagnall4868 ML350 Bluetec towing capacity is 7200lbs. My boat plus trailer weight around 6000 lbs. Way under the towing capacity.
That is the wrong towing capacity for ml350 only can tow up to 3500. Not sure where you getting that tow capability from sir.
@@Jayluvboi Please check the Official Mercedes website or you can check anywhere from the internet towing capacity 3500kg = 7700lbs. www.thetowcarawards.com/tow-car/mercedes-benz-ml350-2/
Thanks, that was very helpful. I just bought an Antares 7 too…😎 Greetings from Germany
Welcome to the Antares family. Enjoy your new toy.
We have Jeanneau 695 which is very similar size as your boat. I was wondering we could drive our boat to Desolation sound from Anacortes (Washington state) as I thought our boat is not big enough and it has single engine. Then I found your trip to Desolation sound! You encourage me to plan this trip! Just having single engine makes me scared 😅
Yes, it is a very similar boat. You probably need double the time since you are from Anacortes. This boat is very capable to go to Desolation Sound, but of course it will use a lot of gas. Desolation Sound is a boater paradise, you must love it. Since you will travel along the coastline, single engine is fine. I am not sure about the traffic from Anacortes to Vancouver, but lots of boat traffic from Vancouver to Desolation Sound. I guess you have VHF radio and C-Tow in case you need help. Of course check the weather before you go.
Good Video. I would use a larger tarp to cover the entire boat included engine
20:51 there's a bird jumping on a table 🤣
Yes, little animals everywhere 🤣
Super - well done
Thank you 😊
hello my friend! good videos! have you watched Antares 6 live? if so, how do you like it? I like it a lot, but 7 is also beautiful) thanks for the answer!
Thank you for watching my video. I haven’t see the Antares 6 live, but I believe it is very similar to the Antares 7. Antares 6 is a little smaller than the 7, but it’s a nice boat that can easily tow by any car.
Hello my friend! How is the Antares 7 doing?) I haven’t bought the Antares 6 yet, I’m already thinking about how to get it from you) my head is spinning, and I want 6 and 7) tell me what kind of boat you had before the Antares 7?
@@Евген-ф9м My boat is doing great last season. My Antares 7 is being covered and waiting for the 2024 season. I can't wait to meet the sea again. Previously, I owned a used 2008 Maxum 2100 SC3. 21foot boat with a cuddy. It was a stern drive not outboard.

Four batteries System. One for the engine, one for the bow thruster, one for all the boat electronics except the cook top which is powered by the extra 12v battery with an inverter.
