Hello! My name is Maria and I'm the Amateur Crafter. I'm not an expert, but know enough to be dangerous. My philosophy: Crafting mistakes are hugs and kisses!
My goal is to make lots of mistakes. I do not "test" or "try" the craft projects beforehand so you can see decisions being made, how to recover from craft mistakes, and the joy you get from making beautiful things. My content tends to be longer because most of my projects are start to finish.
As an aspiring minimalist, I sprinkle in organization and minimalism. Crafters and minimalists can live in the same body!

Cut small designs with Cricut Design Space
I'm getting the same design cut on both HTV and permanent vinyl to apply to an acrylic painting. We aren't sure what will hold up best for the long term, so we want both options available.

Update: I did apply the HTV to the painting with a Cricut Mini Press using light pressure and medium heat.

My family uses safety pins for keeping socks paired up during the wash.
I like the safety pins, but when I used to use them, they'd "get lost" in the wash, and I found them randomly. Ouch!
I thought of that when I bought a set with the tools and oodles of snaps, but it's nice to have confirmation before I try it. 🎉

I wonder if you put the snaps on the top of the sock, like where the toes are (where toes meet the foot), if that would be bothersome. 🤔
Interesting idea! You may have a hard time getting the tool around all the fabric though. But metal snaps and such that use a different tool might work. I wear toe socks, so I had never considered this placement. Any shoe pressure on the sock may be annoying though.
Why in the world didn’t you use white socks. Couldn’t see a thing. Dumb as dirt!

As a yarn maker from spinning to project I have never used either w8nder or swift. Perso ally do not find them useful or friendly to the bank account. Mind you if yall have the ability to purchase and find them to be ifit you then awesome.
I recall I got mine in a set for around $60. But there are definitely more expensive and less expensive ones!

It may help cut thicker materials, but mainly intricate and fine settings!
