Ah I see what you're saying. I think that's something I forgot to mention as much in the video, but the idea is that both high tier ammo and high tier armor is less available, so that we do indeed get those longer juicer fights that tarkov is so much better for than the CoD or Battlefield fights we get late wipe. Down-tuning ammo would definitely be a good alternative too. A headshot meta exists in almost every game and that's fine, it rewards skill still more than just having the better equipment. It's been a while since I made this video so some of the parts will have been moved around since, im gonna go ahead and say some of the parts likely need max traders, I know for sure the advanced buffer tube is now mechanic 4 which is at level 40. Also because these are from 12.7 (I think) the stats won't be accurate nor the total cost. I could make an updated video though if that's of interest to you.

Alright so best bet is going to be the stock m1a from peacekeeper or flea, whatever comes cheaper, and at mechanic 2 you can get the arms 18 mount which will let you put on an optic. Whatever you pick as long as it's under 50k, mount included (like the 30mm scope mount not the arms 18 bit), you should be able to make the build for 120k ish, if you want to spend another 27k for more ergo you can make add the archangel stock. Unfortunately the gun sits at 140ish recoil, but if you treat it like a sniper dmr it should be fine. You could also just slap an elcan on which will give 1-4x zoom and that's like 30k too. Yeah, working on the latest video now and I've decided that I'm just going to use sights as "set pieces" I think the gun looks a little weird without a sight but from now on my disclaimer will basically be just me saying that I have a sight so the gun doesn't look weird lol. Buy m855, the one from level 1 peacekeeper, and then level up your workbench to craft 856a1. Eventually doing the peacekeepers quest line also unlocks 856a1 so if you push through skiers quests then to peacekeepers you can start using that. Aim for the face with m855

Pro tip the 56a1 round is a tracer,so if you're juicing with 55a1 or 995 rounds make sure the last 5-10 shots are 56a1. So you know when you dump your mag. Or Reload. The performance is equivalent and you won't go click when you mean to go boom.

In terms of raw comparison, I would say having semi-auto could be considered the meta of this, (of course that includes the saiga), but first off, the mp133 and m590a1 are available from jaeger 1, whereas the mp153 is jaeger 2, and arguably this isn't hard to get to, but I have had a few wipes now where I didn't unlock him until I was around level 25-30 (this one included). In a pure value perspective, I do agree the mp153 comes out to seem better because it's low cost and semi-auto (non-pump). Another reason for wanting to buy the other shotguns is to break up the monotony, when doing the shotgun quests or just playing the game in general, I find I personally get bored quick if I'm running the same gun and build over and over, but that's just me. If you were just going for the best and low cost all around and didn't care for the points I mentioned, then I can agree that the MP153 has the best value. Thanks for the comment!
