Nope in both version ptera will spin for that you need to change a setting in your game it is a secondary attack

The first trap you showed still works for me in ascended. Just instead of running you need be on a flyer. Sit in mid air above it and it goes in. I’ve tamed Rexes therris, allos. All with the first trap.

Just use Dino gates. Lead it in, run out through pillars in the side and shut the Dino gate.

The Doedicurus can gather Obsidian, but only on specific rocks. Other creatures, such as the Ankylosaurus and Magmasaur are able to gather Obsidian from all Obsidian roc
