      Yes, you can. Have it match what's in your resume, and phrase it as, "I am active in my community by volunteering at the local hospital" or whatever it is you do.

    You used the diction of "being a dream of mine" a lot. Perhaps some variety in the word choice will add some variety and not sound as repetitive.

      Sure thing. You could use other phrases like: "I've always wanted to..." "One of my goals is to..." "I have a strong internal drive to..."

      The person talking is the head of recruitment for a top 20 MBA program and has been in higher education for 10+ years. There may be slightly different advice depending on the competitiveness of the program you're applying to, but what he's covering here is solid.
