My lid temperature gauge barely moved when I put a small amount of charcoal to cook a chicken breast first time. Not quite sure how to test the thermometer unless I unscrew it and place it in my oven I guess. But I was only using half the charcoals you did.

Hi, I am thinking of getting this tent. I just watched your full set up video which gave a really great look at it. How did it withstand the rain? I’m in the UK so rainy camping is inevitable and my current yurt style tent leaks badly under the door, is this better?

How is this tent holding up a year later?

Same exact technique as whipping rope. And, it has very many uses. I used this year's ago to make toothpaste tube squeezes out of chopsticks and dental floss. I have a video on my channel for this.
