Part of me wants this to be a thing, but also part of me doesn't want it to be a thing, at least not just yet. We just got a new Mario fight, Bowser vs Eggman and I want more Mario characters to be covered before another Mario vs Sonic. Plus I'm kind of sick of Mario vs Sonic fights. Bowser VS Eggman had the benefit of not only being an army fight, but also with their abilities and overall fighting styles being wildly different from their heroes as well as Eggman vs Bowser not being a fight up till now. Plus, Lots of Mario characters have lots of potential to fight other characters beyond just Sonic characters. HOWEVER, Mario vs Sonic 1 and 2 sucks with the characterization (for both Mario and Sonic.), tone and the fact that it was overly edgy with over reliance on blood, which isn't in the Sonic series or Mario series whatsoever. So if this fight got the Goku versus Superman treatment, then It could be one of the best death battles ever. Right now I'm more lenient on Mario getting more fights beyond just Sonic characters.

As long as they only use canon versions of each character then I’m fine. In fact this is one of my most wanted episodes and my most wanted rematch.

Phenomenal! I really like how this feels not only like a trailer for the matchup itself but a comparison of the franchises as a whole and their extended histories with one another.

I need mario vs. Sonic 3 to be like goku vs. Superman 3. Where they use almost for both sides. As a kid who grew up with both mario and Sonic, i need this episode to be peak whenever it happens. I have a deeling that it might be episode 250 if we ever reach there

this was peak, and even though this was a death battle where i didnt have a favorite for the fighters i am impressed but the koopa kings star shone bright, all seriousness though this made my hairs stand on their end

I really liked the video but as a long time fan of Sonic I have to be a stupid crying loser about it first, super forms are invincible and it would make more sense if bowser stabbed super neo metal sonic in the weak point his hole and second sonic probably could have outran the Kirby inhale I say probably because truly I have no idea how strong it is and I am just assuming it's like a tornado and all the OGs know Eggman is faster than Sonic but this fight was amazing.
