A collection of books from the mini library in my Computing Suite. All bought to try and encourage reading throughout the school. Thought it might be nice to share. Don't forget magazines either, they're a fab way to keep your library fresh with new cheap content!

Saw a few videos on Twitter and RUclips showing people doing the STEM challenge of dropping eggs from windows! Decided to give it a go with the boy, and raise the stakes for the loser....🥚🥚🥚

Scratch Follow-a-long Guide: Stamping Patterns
Просмотров 9114 года назад
In this video I've created a guide of how to make a pretty stamping pattern maker. The code is simple enough, but the fun comes from you tinkering and playing with the values in the code. I'd love to see some of your creations! You can have a look at my project here: scratch.mit.edu/projects/384356619

como faz a programação ?
Are there instructions on how it’s made and/or a diagram of the circuit with how it works. Thank you!
That's an ARGB strip, not what I was looking for
Morse code is a sound language. It is better to learn morse code by sound. Every letter is a special tune. A chart will slow you down because you will count the dits and dahs.
you came to miriam lord school and saw mr hussain
May I know how to code? I really need it for my school project, Thank you!

I recommend that you could put a tree in the tank matt.

Simple, but great fun.
Hi Matt, thanks so much for your videos - very clear and fun to do. I'm using them to upskill myself! I've created a rainbow egg-laying chick: scratch.mit.edu/projects/396829055 However, I can't get the egg to be on the layer above the chick, despite putting the layers in the code. Any ideas? Thanks, Izzy
Cool! I did the same thing!
I done this and it turned out great
Thank you, one of the best tutorials I have watched, I will be sending this to my students to use at home.
its good
trash tutoriall JK
before I alter my LED strip I have something I want to confirm, I have heard that the micro:bit can only power 8 of the LEDs on the bar at a time, is this true?
I've done 10 and it's worked for me. I do tend to stick to 8 though myself
@@mattmoore1909 running 24 with no problem
Cool! I like the idea of displaying the time it took to complete. I also made a maze game with the micro:bit. My version is for two or four players and it's made out of wood. You can see an old version on my RUclips Channel and an update on Twitter: twitter.com/PinkyPepper_/status/1186695345348272129
Very nice idea. Thanks for sharing. I think you can also do this with a micro:bit.
This really did help with my homework but you now the sign that looks like molecules what is it? Plz
Great stuff, Matthew!
Great clear guide...off to cut up some LED strips!!
In fact we have fun
Cool! I also made a maze for the micro:bit. It's a maze for two players who need to work together. Maybe you like to see it: ruclips.net/video/2JCDVCSQpik/видео.html
This is such a great video, Matt! We love it! Those text graphics look so good! (And this slide switch is so simple, yet so complex!)
